Exporting IFS data using Online Excel

We can’t export data from IFS using the Microsoft 365 Excel online option on a Terminal Server farm environment.  getting the following message:

 

Does Microsoft Excel need to be installed as an application on the Terminal Server environment in order for the Export to work?

    Hi @BAMRICHBONO,

    We suggest you check the default type of Excel format .xls is set to Excel or not.

    If not, please change it to the default format .xls.

    Can the default format be set to .xls if the application isn’t installed locally on the Terminal Server?  As I mentioned, the only option to open an .xls file is to use the online Office 365 version.
