Hi! I would like to create a custom field that is connected to LOV and then the user can select a value using F8. Is this possible in IFS 9?
When I run the command .\main.ps1 -resource 'INGRESS', an issue occurs. I have verified the JFrog repository login, and it is working correctly.The password is also valid. Additionally, the connection to "https://ifscloud.jfrog.io/artifactory/helm/" is successful.Could you please provide a solution for this? I would appreciate your help.
Hi,We’re currently working on IFS Cloud 24R2 and I developed a new page directly using IFS Developer Studio (not as a Custom Page or Custom Field).All labels, prompts, and button texts were initially created in English.After deploying the solution to production, I wanted to add Turkish translations. However, these texts do not appear under the “Translatable Texts” screen in Solution Manager, so I’m unable to translate them.Would appreciate any guidance or best practice for making Developer Studio–based page texts appear in the Translatable Texts list.Thanks in advance!
Greetings!In IFS Apps 10 I am receiving the following error. I did check the Part Configuration for LV MIXER TRUCK and INTERNATIONAL is apart of the LV CHASSIS MFGR. I am not sure how to fix it
IFS Cloud Ubuntu 20.04 environment, fresh install, error in ifsapp-proxy POD (see attachment). Proxy won’t start. We found this error message: "socket() [::]:8080 failed (97: Address family not supported by protocol)". We don’t have IPv6 in use, is it necessary? How can we change the configuration to use only IPv4?
Dear all,My client wants to modify a materiel requisition (warehouse) , but sometimes a window appears to make the modification and sometimes it does not. This pop-up window then blocks the materiel requisition (warehouse). The workaround is to open another browser window to modify the same materiel requisition (warehouse), and this time there is no modification pop-up window. How does this modification pop-up window appear? IFS Cloud 24R1.5
Hi!I'm trying to contribute more actively to the IFS Community by answering questions related to the IFS products we use. However, I find it difficult to locate unanswered questions that are relevant to the specific sub-forums or community categories we have experience with. I often spend a lot of time scrolling past irrelevant questions, as some product areas have vastly more questions than others, and therse hide the ones where I can help.For example, the Unanswered Questions page currently shows 22 pages of questions across the entire community. However, IFS Assyst only makes up a small fraction of these, so finding unanswered (or answered) questions from smaller Community Categories or sub-forums, such as assyst-general, assyst-integrations, etc, is almost impossible. This is especially frustrating because these are the only areas where we might have the capacity to provide insight or where we might encounter similar questions ourselves. Hi everyone,In IFS Cloud, we have noticed that the Connect Object functionality (accessed from the Activity Materials and Services window in Project Management) does not allow us to select Work Order from the Object Type dropdown. Work Order is not included in the available options.Can anyone confirm if excluding Work Orders from the Object Type dropdown is standard in IFS Cloud? If not, how can this be enabled through Projects? (We understand that, from the Work Order end, we can connect the project activity.)Additionally, while Work Task is available in the default Manual Connections in the Project Setup Parameters, it is still not shown in the Object Type dropdown within Connect Object.Thank you. Hi all,We are in the process of creating the permission sets for IFS Cloud. So far, we have distributed the projections via ‘PermissionSetNavigatorTree’. In addition, the projections with ‘Report’ in the title were assigned separately . Based on the information we have (or had), this should include all pages. However, we have now realised that various projects cannot be distributed via the navigatorTree. We estimate that there are about 1260 projections that are not assigned. These can be found on the ‘Manage Projection Grants By Page’ page and can be assigned. However, if this had to be done for each permission group, it would be an immense workload. Does anyone have experience with this problem or have we misinterpreted something? We are grateful for any information.
IFS Cloud 24 R2 on IFS Cloud services. A customer are currently using SSO with Multi-Factor Authentication, and when IFS Support needs to assist with debugging in their environment, dedicated accounts must be created. This process is taking significant time, causing delays and frustration. The project is now in a critical phase, and any delays in addressing support cases could jeopardize the planned Go Live.Could you please advise how Unified Support typically handles this situation with other SSO customers, and if there are alternative secure approaches we can propose? i’m not community post below is relevant as it 5 years old and pre IFS Cloud
Hi everyone,We are currently reviewing the transition from IFS Applications 10 to Aurena and would like to know if there are any official IFS materials or documentation that detail the UI changes between the two.For example:• In App 10, the Project Navigator window was used for project-related work.• In Aurena, this seems to have been replaced by the Project Definition window.We have already checked the release notes spreadsheet but could not find specific references to this change. As per the recent communication from IFS, we understand that:IFS Applications 8 has been in Restricted Support since March 24, 2017 It is scheduled for retirement on March 27, 2026, after which support services will be discontinued The Citrix Build Place for IFS 8 will also be retired on the same date, and access will be terminatedGiven this, we are seeking guidance and community input on the following:If Harvest is shut down, what are the available options to continue supporting IFS Applications 8 until its retirement? Are there any alternative tools or strategies that can help us maintain our environment and manage support issues independently? Is there any possibility to retain access to Harvest for our organization beyond the general shutdown? I have a basic expense sheet tied to a project but when trying to authorize, I’m getting the following error, “The level of access cannot be less than 20”. Does anyone know what his means or how to resolve it?
TLDR; See question Title.This is a common situation we’ve encountered when attempting to delete a record in IFS. We receive an error message stating that the object is used in another object. Typically the prompt in parenthesis (‘Receipt Inv Location’ in this example) is not the name of the page where the records are entered. We’ve identified that this typically corresponds to the PROMPT value on the entity but have not been able to find a link from the entity to the page. I’ve attempted to dig through the source code but cannot find the metadata that connects the entity to the page. Using the source code or metadata in the database if it exists would both be acceptable methods if they exist.
