In Visual Shop Order Operations Planning, I am trying to sequence operations with characteristics in a Work Center in the Machine Operations Scheduling Gantt.

The documentation reads as:

  1. To sequence all operations for a resource or work center loaded in the Gantt chart, open the card for the resource or day and click Sequence.
  2. To sequence all operations for a resource or work center on one or several days, select the relevant day(s) for the resource and click Sequence.
  3. To sequence specific operations, select the relevant operations and click Sequence.

For #2, how can a user select the days in the Gantt, where should a user click for this?
For #3, when I select one operation in the Gantt the Sequence command is available, but when I select multiple operations the Sequence command is not available.

Yes Matt, you can Ctrl + click to select another order as per your requirement. Just in case if your 2nd operation is covered by the information card of 1st operation, you can just close the card and Crtl + click the 2nd operation. Then click on Sequence command, an assistant will be opened.
Also, can I know the release that you are referring to? From 24R1 onwards, selected days/operations are more visible as below with a black color outline.

Hi Matt,
For #2, days can be selected by selecting the day cards as below. But we have identified that Sequence command is not getting enabled when a day card is selected, which is most likely a defect and we are investigating on that through https://ifsdev.atlassian.net/browse/MFDEV-20515

For #3, sequence command should be enabled only if operations which belongs to same resource or work center are selected. This functionality is working as designed it seems.

Hi @Pavani Haputhanthri here I have two operations on separate orders in the same work center resource that I want to sequence.

When I left-click on the Black operation, the sequence command is available and an information card opens. Also, there is no good visual indicator in the Gantt of which operation I have clicked on.

How do I then select the Beige operation to allow for sequencing, i.e., is it another left-click, or Ctrl + click, or something else?

Hi Matt, I think that can be raised to Aurena Frame Work team through a support issue.
