Do you want to check in and open a HTML document or do you really just want to check in a file such that a URL is opened instead of a document file?

I think IFS Community has earlier posts on the latter.

Thank you for the reply. Found out since that I had the wrong end of the stick here. My original requirement has been resolved. Basically wanted a field that contains a hyperlink that is selectable. Was told that I can do it with an HTML type document, but have used the correct type fo custom field.

Great! :)

So there is a custom field type that allows a URL to be entered and then making it clickable?
