Bulk Move Serialized Parts

Is there a way to move multiple serialized parts to a common inventory location in apps 9 or do they need be moved one by one?

Have you tried to move parts using Transport Tasks?

If you use “move inventory part window” you have to move serial parts one by one. But if you add all there serial parts to a one transport task, you can move it as a bulk as per my understanding. 

First you can go to Inventory part in Stock window and query for your serial part that you need to move. 

  • Let’s say, you want to move below 10 serial parts to one inventory location. The first you can select those parts. 
  •  

  • Then right click > Move with Transport Task.
  • This with create a transport task with all above parts and you  can specify the to location there. 
  •  

  • Then you can find the transport task in the Transport task window and to move parts, you can Excecute it.
