Setting the correct user in docman when uploading a file via integration

We are on Apps10 UPD14 using Boomi / IFS Connector for integration.We have a scenario where we are using Boomi integration to upload a file into document management from an external app. I know who the user on the app is, and I know that users IFS user ID.My challenge is - IFS is recognizing my integration ID as the user uploading the file, and I need to set the docman access based on the application user.Example - IntegrationID is the ID Boomi is using and Joe.Smith is the user in the app. When Joe.Smith uploads a file from the app to IFS, I need the final result in doc man to look like Joe.Smith did the upload (as if they were in IFS when they did it) and not IntegrationID. Currently, it’s IntegrationID.

Unable to see IAL views in Visual Studio 2019 - SSIS with Oracle Connector and Client

We have a question regarding an SSIS connection to IFS. I am using Visual Studio 2019 - Community Edition and have established a connection to IFS using Microsoft's Oracle connector to pull some data via an SSIS package.We have IALs in IFS that are considered views and have access to them with a "read-only" user account given to us. I can see and access them in PL/SQL Developer, but I can only access tables in Visual Studio SISS package, I can't access the IAL views.Is there some type of limitation with the Oracle Connector? DetailsMain Requirement – Get some data integrated to a SQL Server database on premisesSSIS requirements and BI tools are installed.User Account – IFSINFO VS Studio Version – Can connect to the database using IFSINFO user but can’t execute a SQL query. Only some of the views are shown and none of the IAL views are shown. Question – how to make the IAL views accessible in VS? (They are accessible for the same user in PLSQL Developer)

How to block manufacturing transactions even when accounting period is closed for production user group?

We have created the user groups and disclosed all these user groups under the voucher types by period.Although the period is closed for production user group, people from production are still able to open shop order and make all the transactions, without IFS block these transactions.How we do this properly in order to not let the production team to create shop order?

Material OH costs related to backflushed material batches (App8)

Hello together,I received a customer question.Prehistory: they set up their material OH costs so that they are generated by backflushing for a shop order when. The material OH should only be applied for purchased items. (This was already achieved in a test).Now the question:they would like to set up the purchase part OH costs especially that they are counted on/to the issued material batch(es) for the shop order (the OH costs relates directly to the backflushed material batch).How do the cost classes/schemas have to be set to realize this?Example: OH costs=10%, average puchase price=10€, price of withdrawn batch: 9€. Then the overhead costs for this should be 0,9€ -> 9,9€ on the shop order for purchased parts.Is somebody familiar with that? Thank you for help in advance! Regards Markus

Can you have the pre-posting selected within the project navigator so that it is pulled into the req when the requisition is created. Rather than having to assign every line the pre-posting individually - - a PO that will have 100 lines, this gets time consuming.

Project Monitoring - View Budget Value

Hello, I am wondering if there is a way from the Project Monitoring screen to view values from the Project Forecasts. Example: I have created a Project Forecast for Project A. I have assigned EAC values for each Activity. The Forecast is Reviewed, Approved, and Set as Budget. On Project Monitoring screen, I see the usual Estimated, Planned, Used Costs etc. Is there anywhere where I can see my values from my Project Forecast? Perhaps an “Active Budget” column?On the Project Monitoring >Analysis tab, I do see columns for BAC (Budget at Completion), EAC, and other fields. But these do not seem to be displaying my Project Forecast values. Online help explains that these are driven by “Estimated Costs”. Is there functionality to copy all of my my Project Forecast values to Estimated Costs? I know that I can copy Estimated values to a Project Forecast, so maybe this is only a one-directional relationship between the two.It is worth noting that creating a Resource Forecast does update Plan

Quick Information Source Draft with Custom Fields

Trying to create a QIS Draft that utilizes the “_CFV” version of the table so that the Custom Fields are available. However, due to the fact that a “CF$_” is prepended to the field name and the Created View Definition is not editable to change an alias, the field comes into the Information Source with the CF$_ prefix, which I thought was fine. And the field is visible in the BR, but if you try to put a filter on the field, it errors out, indicating that QFACT_XYZ_CFV.CF is not a dimension or fact. It appears that the $ in the db field name is being evaluated as a parameter and making BR blow up. Other than writing an IAL where I can alias the field correctly, does anyone know how to get around this issue?

MRB Case Status; IFS9 vs. IFS10

Hello Community,We just upgraded from “9” to “10” UPD 13. Production/Quality has noticed MRB’s no longer create in “In Process” ( “9” ) but in “10” create in “Planned”. This is adding steps (and a little confusion) to the process when creating an MRB via RBM off a Shop Order Line. Is there any control on the “Default create MRB”? We’d like to set it as “In Process”. I’ve looked in all the usual places for this type of setting, nothing….. Thanks, Troy

Safety Stock Analysis Tools available

Hello IFS Community,We went live Nov 1, 2021. Are there tools within IFSAPP10 that provide safety stock analysis tools. We had to run an extremely long process of pulling our old history from our old legacy system Infor XA and combining with new history within IFS and pull together into our old multi linked spreadsheet format to review, analyze and determine new safety stocks. We would like direction on where to go within IFS and possibly some links to help so we can begin to research. We did upload our sales history to utilize for Demand Planning is there a way we can use that until 11/1/2023.

Hi All, I’m wondering, is there any way to upload the FC from my customer for several parts at once? I mean, I work with over 700 different PN’s, and in order to release the FC to our colleagues at the PPD, at this moment I had to upload one by one for each single part, is there any way to load the FC for all the parts we supply to our customer, at once? Believe me is quite time consuming to do it, part by part…. Thanks a lot for your support or ideas of how to do it.

Is it Possible to auto pass a parameter value to a crystal report?

IFS Community, hello! There is a possibility that when I click on my crystal report "Material Rev Board Label" See screenshot, the parameter will be automatically passed to my crystal report. This is without prompting the window to ask for parameter values.I have Case ID 52 in my screenshot, so if I click on Material Rev Board Label, the 52 will pass to the Crystal Report automatically and after the report will display.

Add Discount to Purchase Order

Hi all,Is there a way of adding a discount to all parts for a supplier where an active price list exists in SFPP (without running a script)? With the recent use of price lists in SFPP this seems to have taken precedence over the discount set at supplier level. Can supplier agreements be used for this? If anyone has done this before or has any thoughts, it would be much appreciated!

Time Registration on behalf of others if not in same project team

Hi, my customer has noticed that the above functionality was recently changed. They are on Apps 10 UPD 13 and has discovered that you are now able to enter time for a person on a project team that was different then the project team you were on if you are the project manager. Our customer is trying to determine when this was changed. We have checked release notes for UPD 13 and have not found any mention of that functionality being changed. Has anyone else come across this?
