Invoices(s) to Authorize application defined event

We have setup the application defined event to trigger Emails for Invoices to Authorize. But when users receive them in the mailbox details are concatenated and seems messy. Is there a way to rearrange the “ &MESSAGE_TEXT “ to show one invoice per line?

rename label og a core field

Hello,I found the topic “Rename columns and tabs in Apps 10 (IEE) and I tried the same procedure before, but with no success.In the LU production tool there are two note fields. Once on the LU tool and once in the tool details.One oh these fields I wanted to rename. I went to the LU Field Translations and searched for these fields and changed the translation.Afterwards I also updated the caches and restarted IFS. All without success. In the mask, the descriptions are still displayed as they are.What am I doing wrong? RegardsAndré

Direct print from Shipments screen

Hi, is there any way to print a document directly from ‘Shipments’ screen, IFS10? Currently, we RMB on the line, select the document we want to print (delivery note for example), go to the print manager screen, and print it from there.Can’t we do it directly, like in the shipment screen itself? So we RMB - select the document to be printed - and go from there with the pop-up screen? Also, in a broader way: what’s the logic behind this? When will IFS do a direct print, when do you need to go the print manager, when is it via report archive and why? Thanks!

i have created a purchase order type 6 linked to a disposition Shop Order. i send my part with my customer order. i receive my repair partafter inspection, i see that my supplier did not the job properly; i have to return the part. But the system doesn’t want to create a return with a PO type 6.i need to keep traçability with my WO Structure

Microsoft Edge as default Pdf reader

We are trying to replace Acrobat reader of vulnerability reasons.Is it possible to use Microsoft Edge as a default Pdf-reader in IFS APP8?We have uninstalled Acrobat reader and set Edge as a default app for .Pdf files.The problem we get is that we cannot do any previews in IFS, preview button is not active.If we try to SHOW PDF in the Report Archive we get the following error message BR Peter

Hi All,The customer is deploying FSconnect AWS URL ( FTP to SFTP migration) by year end & currently it's in UAT & this clarification is related to SFTP development work which is on critical path.Whether the FSconnect application needs to use two separate ports for document transfer? Quick Report issue when column headers are more than 32 characters

If I try to create a SQL statement QR (IFS10) with column titles longer than 32 characters, it will give an error. Has anyone seen this before? Is there a workaround to this problem please? ThanksHiroshan

Unrecognized Business Object: structure_parent_id

in an upgrade from 6u7 to 6u15, we’ve been getting an error on the product screen, productlookup and various other places with a product search that says there is an unrecognized business object: structure_parent_id.If I open FSM Codes, the code name is there with the expected values. If I do sql query on the metrix code table, I can see it - and the error will go away temporarily as well - but figure out why I keep getting the message.For example, this morning I got the error when I first logged in. After I did a sql query to look at the data, I now can’t trigger it again anywhere. Very odd.Have you seen this or something similar before? I’m at a loss. I’d appreciate any direction anyone has with this as it’s taking far to long to figure out … Geoffrey

Shop order pick list in other site

Hi, we have a intersite set-up, where the production and the warehouse are located in different sites. All stock is in the warehouse in Site 2, the production is in Site 1. What is the easiest way to generate a pick list for our production in Site 1, to be picked in site 2 without losing the link? Because we want to pick in Site 2, put it all in a box and send it to site 1. Site 1(production) needs to be able to identify easily for which shop order the box is when it arrives. We are playing around with DO generated by MRP, but the problem is that we lose the connection with the shop order.

How to format the where condition from search dialog?

In a screen [frmWindow], open the search dialog, enter a value for any column and hit search. When clicked on search, I need to format the value given and use this formatted value to populate the screen.For example: In Customer Order screen, I enter value for Customer as “ABC” and hit search. But in the background, I need to format the “ABC” as “%ABC%” and search for this.We can achieve this using Saved Search but I need to implement it in the form level. I found QueryWhereStatementFormat but came to know that this can be used only for child sources.Any suggestions?

Purchase Exchange Orders

Is there a way to cancel a Customer Order created when using the Purchase Exchange Orders functionality?We have a PO line marked as an exchange and we entered an exchange component. When the PO is released, it creates a customer order and reserves the exchange component on the CO. If we unreserve and try to cancel the CO, we get the following error message: The scenario is us purchasing a part from a supplier and sending a used part back to the supplier for some credit. So the PO line is marked as an exchange, the used part is entered as an exchange component and a CO is created to ship the used part to the supplier.If the used part is lost or trashed for some reason and we want to cancel the CO, how can we accomplish that?

How to Invoice block a customer order – Charge line

We would like to Invoice block a Freight Charge which is in order level. Could you please let us know if we can do Invoice block a customer order – Charge line, which is not connected to any Line? In some orders, we need to review/update our freight charges before it get invoiced. So we wanted to Invoice block the charge.If there is no way to Invoice block FREIGHT charge, Is it possible to connect the FREIGHT to a delivered order line and Invoice block the Order line and after Freight charge is reviewed/updated then uncheck Invoice block line and remove connection line to the Freight charge? Strange Behavior on IFS MWO App - Work Orders Crashing via IOS?

Can anyone advise if there have been any issues noted on MWO crashing when trying to access work orders via an iOS deviceIn our demo environment (https://ifspsa3-d07.demo.ifs.cloud/), I have work orders assigned to a technician but in MWO when I click on the work order, the app crashes out. When I log into a Samsung Tablet, I am able to access that work order without the app crashing. Can anyone advise if this has been an issue reported by anyone else who uses an iOS device to demo MWO?
