HiI am trying to add a custom attribute as following:Persistent Field - Datatype = CurrencyWhen I add the field to my page I can see it BUT it does not show the currency. Now, how do you get it done so when I enter an amount it shows the currency too? Thank you for your help.Judy
When trying to sequence shop orders based on characteristics having multiple operations, a large number of the operations gets unscheduled with the error message IDI_SCHED_INFO_500. The operation we’re sequencing on is a later operation, but the operation getting the error message is a prior operation in the operation list. There is no explanation of the error message so it’s impossible to understand what happens - anyone seen this error or can anyone check in the APB code to see what triggers it? It happens in APPS10, update 13

While closing the accounting period, system is showing error as “Transactions waiting to be transferred from Distribution and/or Manufacturing”Upon analyzing found that 1 OESHIP inventory transaction with value 0.0036 is not transferred as there are no accounting transactions created due to value is 0.00 (upto 2 decimal places) while in the inventory transactions history screen we can see the transaction with value as 0.0036 (utpo 4 decimal places).Please suggest how we can transfer the transaction so as to be able to close the period.
We want to add the field “qty to invoice” from the entity “WoPlanSrvQuo” to the service quotation report. But how can we do this?We can add the field on service quotation header, but not on service quotation line.Can someone help?Thank you in advance!
Hello, I have a question about the “Periodical Capitalization and Revenue Recognition” screen. Is it possible to choose the project to be included in an accounting period ? Or to unselect projets that already are retrieved. For exemple in the screen attached to this question, is it possible to delete the projects selected ? Best regards
It frequently happens that we have a need to adjust and add same indirect result or clocking for many employees. The ways we have have found always requires this to be entered by each Employee. This is very time consuming when you have a big group of employees. Is there a way to do this more efficient, e.g. mark multiple employees and automatically assign same clocking/result?
Hi!Does anyone know how to adjust the setting of which documents to attach to a costumer invoice?When creating a costumer order from a work order and releasing the customer order, IFS creates an attached document with the notes from the work order and attaches it to the e-invoice. How can we configure that the attached document is not created and not attached to the e-invoice?Thanks!

Having an issue with Planning method A - for purchased finished good. Using MS Level 1 - but if I set Min/Max/Multiple lot sizes to anything other than zero, Purchase req’s go away and get MS Supply lines instead. Also, I am using planning time fence as a surrogate for purchasing lead time, which doesn’t seem to have any functionality. How do you specify whether MS1 or MRP is doing the planning?This is all in IFS 8 (upgrading to IFS 9 soon I believe).
Hi,Question is related to BPAI have tried to trigger an ‘User Interaction’ workflow from a ‘child form’ in IFS cloud 21R2. But it gives a server error. I am able to create an ‘User Interaction’ workflow from a 'Parent Form’ successfully. So I'm sure my workflow is correct. Is this a known limitation for child forms/child tables ? kind regards,Yashodha.

I’m trying to set up an integration for consumable orders that will create Service Orders, add materials, and then Allocate (source) them from a designated warehouse.Setting ldmnd_stat_id updates the status, but does not actually allocate the stock. Sourcing through the employee portal seems to call macro Sourcing.I’ve tried to run this through the interactive api, but I cannot get it to succeed. In IFS Cloud, We want to use a DMS and not store the documents in the IFS data base.We have large documents like .STEP, .IGEST, .DXF, ....We want to share documents in a secure way with external contacts.Is there a tool integrated in IFS that can do the job or should we use a tool external to IFS? HelloWe are attempting to use the CRM Panel to create business opportunities and business mails from incoming emails. Right now, the business mails are creating, but attachments are not flowing from outlook to IFS. I checked my CRM/SRM Panel Settings and i have SAVE_EMAIL_BODY set to TRUE and SKIP_ATTACHMENTS set to FALSE. I dont receive any errors when creating the business mail, it just doesnt attach anything. Any tips?

HI All, I and have found some differences between IEE and Aurena Configurator screens, specifically on the dialog box that pops up when you save a configuration that is a match to an existing standard part based on the Configuration. In IEE there is a dialog box That appears telling you there is an existing standard product. Unfortunately, in Aurena (Cloud too) this dialog box does not appear. Has this Dialog been removed in Aurena/Cloud or perhaps the dialog removed? :In AurenaOn Click Apply: no dialog, POP up in corner or button or indication there is a match to a standard part. Additionally there is now the “Create Standard part from Cfg button (which is also a RMB function in IEE) but it’s misleading as it would indicate to the sales rep a standard part does not exist for the CFG ID. Which is does. Note the config ID matched to an existing Config ID properly and is updated for the line, there is just no indication of a standard part until you go back to the customer order line and

Hello,While reading the records from Survey Answers screen through BPA, I get the below error while debugging the workflow. Does any one know why I’m getting this error when the attribute ‘NEXT_SURVEY_ID’ is not part of the entity ‘SurveyAnswers’? Also, which entity set should be used to read Survey Answers? If I use the entity set ‘SurveyAnswersSet’, when a survey is created from mWO, it does not trigger the workflow. I’ve tried using both Projection Action and Custom Events. In REQUESTFLOW when viewing an existing Request, how is it possible to allow the user ‘Add’ a new Note, but not ‘Edit’ existing notes. The Workflow editor only seems to allow you to enable or disable the whole Note section. I have tried making the Note text object read only in the Metadata, but this has no effect. Anyone been able to achieve this?
Hello, We’d like to monitor who is turning scheduled database tasks on or off, but I’m not aware of any place this can be see from. We see in the background jobs of these tasks that the database task schedules are being turned off, and we’d like to see which user is doing so. Thanks,Bryan
