Hi all,We have experienced an issue where the visualizer tool tip isn’t updating correctly (sometimes!)An example from some time ago shows that our planner went to the visualizer and hovered over the relevant part of the bar and got this. As you can see the Op Load on Week and Total Operation Load show 5.2The times on the shop order had been amended prior to this check (a day before) to reflect a new Op Load on Week and Total Operation Load of 4.5 so was confused as to why the above was still showing the wrong figures. He had logged out of IFS and logged back in fresh the next day so it wasn’t a refreshing issue. When he had manually run a Schedule Shop Order from the RMB menu on the shop order header it then updated the tooltip to reflect the new time. The odd thing is that every time I try to replicate the problem it seems to work fine without me having to schedule the shop order however I have had other people report the same issue (very intermittently) so I am wondering if anyon
Dear Community, We are experiencing some issues with IFS Project, and hoping you can assist, or offer guidance.We are using IFS Apps 9, UD15, and when we attempt to create a Project Forecast, if the CPE fields are selected, we receive the following error message: So a work around is to remove the PCE selection and create the forecast. This then leads to a secondary issue, whereby, we are unable to re-apply the PCE, once Forecast Lines exist. We are also experiencing an issue, whereby, a Forecast has been assigned as Active Budget. The RMB option to set as preliminary is listed, yet unavailable for selection, as it is greyed out. Any thoughts or suggestions please?
Hi Experts,I have a requirement of triggering an integration upon clicking a hyperlink. The only way I could think of going about this is by attaching a client script to a text field and setting the lookup navigation of that field such that it shows a hyperlink.For example: and the client script is attached as following,the above setup yields in a hyperlink, but clicking on this doesn’t trigger the client scriptI tried various configurations for the lookup navigation, and my observation was that whenever the Trigger is set as hyperlink, client scripts don’t get triggered.The only way I could get the client script to trigger was with the following setup, but the flipside is, this doesn’t yield a hypelink anymore, So this is where I am at. Any ideas on how to get the desired requirement working? is it possible at all?P.S I saw a similar question raised here which is still unanswered

I created a custom tab with two attributes for Customer. The first is the Customer_id in order to link my custom tab to the master data.Now when adding/updating a value there, it saves the value for the master linked and this is the behavior that I need (so far all is OK) But if the user click on the (+) button instead of update directly the existing value in the field ‘New cf Jfo 2’, a new line is saved in the database but will be never visible because a first value exists. How to avoid this behavior ? How to avoid the user to create a new value when a first already exists ? Thank youJean-Louis
HiI am looking to perform a Work Guideline Sign Off using Novacura Flow whilst having the SHPORD_SUBTASK_SIGNOFF Security Checkpoint Active.If I perform the sign off in the Work Guideline screen, with the debug console on, whilst the Authentication Request window is displayed, there isn’t anything in the PL/SQL details to show a procedure call I can use to get the username and password pushed through, so the Security Checkpoint is passed.Has anyone been able to overcome this issue with Security Checkpoints? I don’t want to go down the route if possible of :-Disable the Security Checkpoint. Create a background job to re-enable the Security Checkpoint if it is disabled. (This caters for when the user doesn’t have the necessary Employee Qualification to sign off the Work Guideline and step 3 fails). Sign Off the Work Guideline. I am using IFS APPs 10 and would like to know what is the best method to adopt to forecast potenial demand against current capacity, for example we already have an active product structure for a sales part but wanted to see what the demand load would look against our current capacity if we were to receive an order for X amount.should we manually create the top-level part demand, run MRP and view the demand via Resource Analysis and then cancle the demand?any suggestions would be helpful regardsJamie
Hi, Is it possible to reverse a supplier payment so the invoice can be cancelled?We are trying to return some product that has failed inspection however we cannot return on the PO as the lines has been connected to the invoice and the invoice has been paid but I can’t find an option to cancel a payment and the below Rollback options are not available:Thanks, Georgina
At Honda Aero we use VIM to maintain our jet engines. We upgraded to Apps 10 back in December of 2021.We use Intersite between 2 Companies to do invoicing and payments. It’s a long story…During the initial implementation project (on Version 7.5) we didn’t find a good way to do quoting and invoicing so we created a monster way to do it.We use Maintenance Orders for the work and found that Apps 10 has a Maintenance Order Quote process.We paid IFS to have a Services Consultant test it and try to get it to work, but she gave up and said it needed more fixes. This was back on Apps 10 Update 3, I think it was.We are now on Update 15 of Apps 10 On Premise version (not the Aurena or Cloud).My question is this:Do you know if the Maintenance Order Quote process functions completely now? And if it does, who from IFS can work with us to get it going here?

In the Business Reporter Execution Server - Currently any report will be sent to background jobs under the default queue. However, some customers want the BR reports to be executed as the highest priority. We are trying to enable SSO to the FSM Smart Client and we are having Java script error pop-up and Overlapping of taxt in the rendered Sign-On Page. Please note that SSO is now working in our Warehouse Portal and Web Client Version. As per our SSO support:1) Java Script related pop-up - Resolution: Ensure running of Java Scripts is enabled for whatever in App browser you're using for SmartClient2) Overlapping of text - Due to unsupported IE browserWe have tested in our virual Machine and in our Citrix environment with Edge or Chrome as the defaul browser and set the Java Script enabled to the browser and same error/behaviur still occur.Can you please let us know if the package for the FSM Smart Client defaults the browser to EI and confirm if the Java scripting is enabled?
We are in IFS 10 update 19. Since going live with the new update, we have encountered an information message: You cannot modify value if Inventory Part already exists for this part! - when trying to transfer part revisions for an expense part. The part is at site level already as an expense and is a revision to the part. The original part revision was transferred as an expense so there is no mismatch between the two-part types. We get the message when we are trying to change the part type to Expense from Purchased (raw), we are able to click through it and the part stays transferred as an expense part, but we would like to figure out why we are getting this message.

I’ve created an employee survey, approved it, included participants and published it. In participant list all participants have an emailaddress. after publishing the survey, I receive a message ‘Survey Published succesfully’. Survey can be found in My surveys by participants, but no email is sent to participants. IFS Cloud documentation is saying that after publish, Emails sent to all the participants listed in the selected participants list.Can anyone help me out? Why are no emails sent to participants?
Our requirement is to show the alert message in mobile while displaying any error and the alert message timing need to increate beyond the base line alert time. Let say we want it to display for 5 or 7 sec. We can't find any app Param to increase the timing of alert. Is there any way to achieve the same
Hi ,I have a DP forecast which I adjusted manually . Then it was set to ‘reviewed’ (tested both in DP client and as well Demand Planner page) . Afterwards I ran the job “Import Demand Planning Forecasts”In MSL1 forecast , I can only see the original DP forecast (sys forecast) but not the adjusted forecast. What am I missing ? Hi,We are in middle of upgrading from Apps 9 (IFS Hosted) to Cloud 23R1 (IFS Hosted) and exploring migrating documents from database to FSS repository in IFS Cloud.While the transfer documents process is working as expected, we have few questions on how this will impact the next Upgrade iterations.Let’s assume, we create a FSS repository IFS_FSS_IT1 for Iteration 1 and migrate all documents from Database → IFS_FSS_IT1.For the next upgrade iteration can we create another FSS repository IFS_FSS_IT2 and migrate documents again and will this overwrite/affect files in IFS_FSS_IT1?The same question can be raised for creating separate storage repositories for each of the three Use Place instances - CFG, UAT & PRD, so they have separate FSS repositories?

Hi,In our current flow, we move reserved parts from the stock to a pre-production location using WaDaCo. We take all reserved parts for a shop order, and combine them into a transport task to move them from the warehouse into the production area (but we don’t issue yet, just move).However, we don’t have any logic in this.The transport task is sorted using Source ref 1, which is the line number from the the Shop order.But if we need part A from location AB01 for the first line, and the third line asks for this part again, the operator will first be directed to location AB01, for the second line to another location, and for the the third line again to location AB01. Any idea how to optimise this?
We are a mining and ready mix operation with approximately 200 mobile pieces of equipment. In our previous fleet management system, we could download fuel tickets as either ROAD (filled up at a gas station using a card) or Company (filled up at one of our fuel locations on site that store inventory.This was not done as a work order, but essentially a material requisition at the object level.Is anyone aware of any capability within IFS that allows this? We have been told that it will require work orders to be completed, just to charge fuel to an object.We want to be able to track to the object so we can identify costs properly and trends, such as an object using more fuel than standard.
