Hi, All!In IFS applications 10 we have Synchronization Rules with own schedule for each mobile entity.To make the data exchange more frequent we would like to change the schedules minimizing the execution interval.But we are afraid of possible causes for the system.What if we will change the schedules for selected entities (ActiveWorkOrder, JtTask, MobileWorkOrder etc) from once a day to every 30 minutes?Could anyone explain how it can affect the system?What about the system performance? Can it be significantly decreased?What about client/server keys mapping? Can we receive the situation with increased quantity of failed transactions due to not receiving the proper keys in time?We have about 50 active users and about 2000-2500 Tasks per month.Thanks in advance!BR,DANMI
Hi, I’m trying to close May period in IFS but it is not letting me to do it as there is an invoice in hold table which I cannot delete. Invoice has already been paid. Is there anyway I can delete the entry from hold table? Please advise. Image below for reference
Hi,I’ve made a Field in Aurena in ‘’My Time Registration'’ Required. However, it is possible to save without enrich it with any values. So basically it’s NOT required/mandatory even though it ticked. See below image. The required field is in a Dialog Box.I contacted IFS Support with following answer: As I explained earlier, changing the expression that should in theory work, but it is very hard to get that expression correct, and we don't support editing such expressions so that has to been done on your own risk. Unfortunately, we don’t have documentation on how to re write the expression and it falls outside the scope of maintenance and support. Two expressions can be changed. Questions about mobile user installed apps/devices:When is a new one created/added to a user? Our users always use the mobile app on the same device yet there is more than one line on their Installed Apps/Devices tab. How is the device State (active, disabled) determined? Hi,I am trying to create a forecast based on the existing Customer Orders. When I refresh the client I am getting this error. Forecast Parts are in place with Customer orders falling for the PeriodTried refreshing the server as well I have written the base flow SQL as Select contract, part_no, issue_date, issue_qty from IFSAPP.external_invent_part_issue_pub What am I missing ? Hello,We have a scenario with a client that currently they click in a button in their legacy system and they "fetch" for example 1000 tasks and related objects from a shared queue and create them in their own system. Hi ,I was just wondering if anyone has any experience with using IFS Aurena Scan It on android scanning devices in a warehouse? We are really struggling to provide our end users with a stream less experience and they are opting to use the PC rather than the scanning devices. Do you get your users to log on as themselves or provide generic accounts? Is there an easier way to login rather than entering username and password every time? How do you prevent your users from logging onto more than one device? Are you users expected to log out multiple times a day? Do you devices auto log out after 5 minutes of idle time? Why the manage server goes to Admin mode and i can resume it from Oracle Weblogic Console, but after rusume status is up and running but not able login to the application shown 503 error but when i run stop_all_servers and start_all servers command again it goes to admin mode again

Customer is getting following error ‘no data found’ when trying to edit and and check-in a document. Did 'Undo Checkout Document' and then again tried to edit and check in, but still get the error. Anyone has an idea on how to get this resolved? Appreciate any input.

I have a external URL for TAS service. Hence i can connect to TAS and login to TAS system id using TAS interface from outside of IFS network ( using my home WIFI ).But when i tried to connect to same Using CRM companion, I am getting 404 : Login Error. Hi!Anyone know how to use this Hidden checkbox on Inventory Locations.Every time i try to press the button nothing happends with the checkbox.i dont see any RMB either to set the location to “Hidden” the help text says:If this check box is selected, it indicates that the specified location has been set as hidden and therefore will not be displayed in the warehouse navigator. This is usually done for locations that are considered obsolete.

Hi allI’d be interested if I was missing a setting or this is a bug. Currently FSM does not allow me to post a receiving record, that I received partially. E.g. the shipment in the following example was involving 2 lots from an item and the shipment was posted, which generated a receiving record following an app param and the “In Transit” flag. For some reason, the technician when doing the goods receipt onto his van, realizes that the quantity shipped and the quantity received does not match and changes the quantity.When the receiving is being “processed” on Mobile, this will automatically trigger the receiving post. The server then throws an error message:The following exceptions occured when posting this receipt: The quantity in Lot(s) does not match the quantity.The same error message is thrown from each, WebClient and Mobile Client.Quantity shippedQuantity receivedError message on Receiving postThanks for all your advices.Kind regards:Marko
