We are updating from FSM 6 v16 to v26 and are currently regression testing. So much of it looks good except for one area - opening Repair Center screen times out.It doesn’t matter if the unit selected was already available before the version update or if the RMA was created after, the result is the same. We can search without issue, but clicking on an item to open the screen times it out.Opening a related task on the task screen is fine using the default repair center screen instead of their modified screen gets the same result I turned server log way up to see if it records anything, but I found nothing conclusive as the culprit.Has anyone seen this or have other suggestions on where I should continue my hunt for a solution?Any and all ideas are appreciatedGeoffrey

There is any option how to consume Information Source/Access View via REST API?I know that Information Source can be used in IFS Business Reporter and Access View I can read from database via IFSINFO user.But there is any other option? I mean eg. wrap Access View to Projection Configuration? I tried it but Access View cannot be used in Projection Configuration.Is any chance how to publish Information Source/Access View via REST API only by tailoring, without programming standard customization?Thanks. Hi,I am trying to invoke a REST endpoint using OAuth2 Client credentials in IFS Cloud 22R2. But it ends up with a 401 Unauthorized access error.It works in Postman for the below configuration.Does anyone have an idea of what I am missing? Or anything else that I could check to figure out what is going wrong? Any help is much appreciated.I’ve tried out some of the things mentioned in earlier community posts, but with no luck yet. One thing I could notice was that the “Client Authentication” in Postman config is set as “Send as Basic Auth Header” and when I changed it to “Send client credentials in body” the retrieval of the token didn’t work and I wonder if IFS by default use that Client Authentication type. Hi experts,I see two types of main error in Customer as below. regarding the error 1, what can we do to sort this, it seems this is happening when there is no DB record but we see many such errors. Does that means data got deleted? Regarding error 2.Can we ignore failes appliction messages connected to mobiles if the same marked as completed in Sync transaction screen as stated in below post, if I am not mistaken? Here’s my scenario… Technician 1 completes Activity 1 using an incomplete stop code and completes the checklist associated with Activity 1. Technician 1 then reassigns the service call to Technician 2. I need Technician 2 to be able to see the checklist answers from Activity 1. Any suggestions on how to make this happen? We can see them in the web portal, but it would be ideal for the tech to be able to view in Mobile.

This is what I’m doing step by step assuming that RMA for Customer Order is registered and released and proper empty Handling Unit exists.Using in Cloud: Register Arrival screen / Receive Parts against Order Deliveries option:I register 3 pcs of KM20240427 part to location RAMPA - arrival type: Using ATTACH_RECEIPT_TO_HANDLING_UNIT Wadaco process with almost no changes to standard configuration (just to show SOURCE_REF_TYPE and not use automatic value)I attach this arrival line to handling unit ID 5079:I’m getting info that everything is correct: But it doesn’t seem so…Here (and in transaction history) it looks OK:but here it’s not:Because of that you can’t use e.g. “Move to One Location” option… System wants to move handling unit 0, but this can’t be done because this lot batch is already packed into 5079… Can anybody help me with this issue? Is it a bug in IFS? Or maybe I’m doing sth wrong...
Looking for a way to have a section stay un-collapsed within a dialog box. When user reports time from the work assignment team they keep forgetting the demand line no because the section is collapsed. we want to make the field mandatory if possible and keep the section uncollapsed at all times. Is it possible ?

We have a situation where in both 22R1 and now 22R2, the reporting pods need to be restarted several times a month. Has anyone else encountered this or know what may be the cause?When it occurs:We see that print jobs go into Waiting status inside IFS. No errors are seen but depending on what/how they are printing, some users get a message that the print is taking time and will be completed as a background job. Checking the status of the pods, no errors or bad status is shown. Everything appears fine.Performing a stop and then a start on the ifsapp-reporting-<id> pod immediately starts processing the jobs again.The problem occurs mostly when we have heavier volumes (most of which are actually PDF) are being printed.Here is what we have tried so far to resolve, which doesn’t appear to have made any difference:Created a dedicated “In Sequence” report message queue and message queue (instead of “In Parallel” to try to avoid contention) for the jobs being sent to the NO_PRINTOUT p

I have a question from my production control team.What field on what screen could we use to have purchase reqs or shop order reqs created with a need date 7 days prior to the need date on the shop order calling for the parts?They are looking to put in some safety or buffer days on the shop order level.Thanks
We are currently working through an implementation of IFS Cloud and are running in to an issue when transferring new manufactured parts during our practice sessions.Our current process includes the creation of new manufactured parts that may use some standardized manufactured components. We have released/transferred the revisions for these standardized parts.Our issue arises when we use one of these standard parts in a new top part structure, new revisions of the previously released components are being created every time we release/transfer a new top part. We are currently selecting “Single Level Transfer” when performing the Engineering Revision Transfer Action, is this an unintended consequence?

We are trying to enable SSO to the FSM Smart Client and we are having Java script error pop-up and Overlapping of taxt in the rendered Sign-On Page. Please note that SSO is now working in our Warehouse Portal and Web Client Version. As per our SSO support:1) Java Script related pop-up - Resolution: Ensure running of Java Scripts is enabled for whatever in App browser you're using for SmartClient2) Overlapping of text - Due to unsupported IE browserWe have tested in our virual Machine and in our Citrix environment with Edge or Chrome as the defaul browser and set the Java Script enabled to the browser and same error/behaviur still occur.Can you please let us know if the package for the FSM Smart Client defaults the browser to EI and confirm if the Java scripting is enabled?
Hi All,Having an issue with datasets which contains 11k records whenever initialization happen form FSM did not see any error in schedule manger its showing process completed but when i am checking in to PSO dataset is not able to load entire data its getting timed out. I could see the status of the dataset is “NO DATA” if dataset having less load process is completing successfully and displaying data on schedule board. I was suspecting that db space issue or timed out need to increase in binding path.Could any one please help me on this how we can fix the issue ?Thanks,Durga

Hi IFS Community,What is the best practice to generate opening balances in Group Consolidation?In IFS Cloud, there are two options available for generating opening balances in Group Consolidation:- Update Opening Balances- Consolidate Balances (for period 0)To generate opening balances for the 2024 0 period, we used the Update Opening Balances option.Everything is correct except for the lack of allocation of year end result from account 20999 to account 2098 and the lack of allocation the non controlling interest from account 20992 to account 20993. We don't want to change balances in the 2023 12 period, so we cannot register adjustments for the 2023 12 period to make the above allocations. We tried using the Consolidation Opening Balance Update Rule function to allocate the year end result, and it worked correctly, but there is still a lack of allocation of the non controlling interest (only one Consolidation Opening Balance Update Rule can be defined).Do you have any suggestions on
