CBAM (Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism) Reporing

One of our customer is also interested in CBAM. Can anyone from IFS could tell me, if there are plans to include it in standard?

In our company we are very interested in this topic as well. If you have any new information please let us know. I assuming it is just a matter of time till majority of our customers start searching for CBAM informations and logicaly we will be the first one who they are gonna ask.

There are plans to include CBAM in standard IFS Cloud capabilities, and below is an overview slide of how we consider the areas under ESG and another slide on the intiatives that we are either working on or planning to include in a future release.

We have the bill of materials and we handle the supply chain planning flows already, so we just need to work out where the right data is to calulate the embodied carbon of them (production and transport).

I cannot tell you exactly which release it will appear, but either 24R2 or 25R1 would be my current best guess.

thanks ​@anbouk for the outlook about upcoming features to include CBAM regulation. Do you or ​@IFS RD Product Management  have an update in which release this will be included? What would those functionalities look like in a bit more detail?
