Create a new record when starting the IFS page

Hello everyone,I'd like to know if it's possible to create a new record when starting an IFS screen.That is, to automatically click on the "+" to create a new record.In APPS10, we had the possibility to act on the behavior : Is this still the case? Thanks in advance.

How to give permission of Work Assignment Information tree view to general user

HiI am having a problem give permission of “Work Assignment Information” tree view to general users. This tree view is under the window My Task ( under Service and Maintenance module, attached ) in IFSAPP10. I have already checked both presentation objects and Database objects in the permission set window but unable to find anything related with the text of tree view menu, so, unable to give permission from permission window. The users I am trying to give permission can access My Work window.  Thank you

Inventory reservation on LIFO and FIFO

Hi Team,System can be defined to reserve stocks based on FIFO (Priority Earliest Date setting) basis. Yet  I am still not sure how system can be configured to handle the reservation process with LIFO. Any expert feedback on this?

There is a requirement from the business to email all attached document on a ticket through outbound email notification. Is there a way to achieve this using a custom action scripts.

TOM TOM Connectivity in IFS Cloud

One of our customer is looking to use TOM TOM for GIS integration for Field force enablement and Unit location visualization inside IFS Cloud in Dispatch Console Map.Please Note: They are currently not using PSO.While we understand ESRI and Google maps is what IFS gives out of the BOX, is there any option to connect using TOM TOM without customization, or do we have any connector via which it can be done directly on IFS Cloud?

Error when adding lines that are connected to a Customer Agreement but not a Sales Price List

Issue:  We are receiving an error when saving a new line on a Customer Order that is pulling the price from a Customer Agreement if there is not a Sales Price List also connected to the Customer for that part. We would expect to be able to add and save the line since the price is valid for the Customer Agreement.We previously were able to enter a new line for a part that is on a Customer Agreement even if the part is not on a Price List that is connected to that Customer. This is generated in the clients environment

Project Deliverables - Shipment Address

We have run into an issue that I would like to bring up in the community. It could be that we have missed a piece of existing functionality or we might face a gap that we have to navigate around somehow.We are using Project Deliverables to design a number of products to be shipped to the customer project site (new address for every project). There are multiple shipments created for a project, up to 40 deliveries (shipments) is not uncommon. I was expecting that a Project Address could be used to define the shipment address. When looking closer at the project address it is our understanding that it only defines the delivery address for purchase orders.If our finding above is correct the first thought is to create a customer address of type Delivery. This is of course possible. However we can’t find anywhere we can set-up what delivery address to use for the Project/Project Deliverables. The only place we have found so far is to create a shipment plan and change the delivery address. But

I tried to update the column profile for linked items in the event view or in the monitor, but I couldn't find anything in the wiki or system parameters.Has anyone ever tried to change this setting?"Any help is appreciated.Thanks in advance

Passing a parameter to a quick report from a lobby element silently

Hi!I have been attempting to pass a couple of parameters to a quick report via a lobby element, but I need this to happen without the Quick Report Query prompt where the user has to press “OK”. In other word, is it possible to pass the parameters silently/suppress the window prompt?  For context: I am making ~20 quick reports that are all based off of the same logic.Simplified query below:“Select * from ifsapp.absence_registration where absence_type_id = “X” having sum(abs_duration)>Y”and instead of having to copy/paste this to 20 different reports, changing these 2 variables and making it a nightmare to maintain if any changes were to happen, I’d like to have one report where I simply pass these 2 variables via the lobby elements navigation url doing the following: Changing the query to: Select * from ifsapp.absence_registration where absence_type_id = ‘&ABSENCE_TYPE_ID’ having sum(abs_duration)>’&ABS_DURATION’and in the lobby element I am then using the URL of:ifsrep:qr

How to pass lobby parameters from IFS CLOUD to FSM Lobby?

Hi All, Currently we are trying to develop a navigating option between IFS cloud and FSM lobbies. To achieve the desired objective we need to pass parameters used in IFS lobby to the FSM lobby parameters through the link.For example, if we have a customer lobby in IFS with customer ID as the parameter value. Once the user links on the navigator link on IFS Cloud lobby, it currently navigates to the relevant FSM lobby page. However, expectation is to pass the customer ID also to the FSM lobby parameters and show the filtered customer information from FSM side.

XML - How to perform an Error Message

Hi there,I'm trying to create an XML Business Rule in which I basically want to validate whether a user has a specific role in their set of roles and, if so, an error type message translation is run. Assigned task are not appearing in mobile application as a job

Step1 :  We have created a new workflow in fsm for sample application.step2: we have created a new task type for the workflow.step 3: when we are going to assign a task (with newly created task type) to user that is not reflecting inside the mobile application in job screen. step 4: Inside this new workflow if we assign task (with pre-existing task type) to user then its work fine. Could you Please help us to resolve this issue as we are mentioned in step 3..

Outside work center

Hello,I need help to correctly set the deadlines in subcontracting, I was in V9 we had this problem and I do not see any improvement on the 23r1. I created an external load item and attached a calendar to it, telling it 1 day = 60mm so that I could talk in days but not in hours for subcontracting. I don't know if there's a simpler way of setting this up.The problem with what I'm doing is that when the subcontracting operation is in progress, if I recalibrate my production order, it doesn't recalibrate the external operation dates correctly. Translated with DeepL.com (free version)  as long as the external operation is in Released status, the recalibration takes the 10-day delay into accountRemaining Machine Time is set to 10I have sent my production order to subcontractors and my operation has been placed in work-in-progress.the Remaining Machine Time field is set to 0 and this poses a problem because if I reset it takes this data and as there is 0 it does not correctly reset my phase.

Aurena Agent issue

Hello, We currently have an ongoing issue for some users regarding the Aurena Agent. Some users report that they cannot upload or download files due to the following error.- EdmFile.The "EDM File" has already been removed by another user.- Something went wrong when uploading the file using the Aurena Agent. Error message: Missing or empty mandatory parameter: odataWe have added the correct permissions to said users and have confirmed that the users have installed the .msi file and the chrome extension correctly.Any and all advise would be greatly appreciated.Thanks,Bryan

CLOUD Custom field LOV based on a table in a different entity

I would like to add a Brand field to the PartCatalog Entity, and I would like the user to select from a list of values in the ServiceBrand Entity.   In App10, we currently use an enumeration field but since there is a native brand field in the Request Management area, we prefer to use the native table.When I try to add a field to the PartCatalog entity, I am unable to reference the ServiceBrand Entity.Any suggestions?

Super useful piece of Information in APPS10 gone in Cloud for Migrations?

Hi IFS Data Migration Friends!In APPS 10, using the migration Toolkit, we had an extremely useful feature available to us when migrating large containers called the "Container Processing Rates" form.In that form you were able to see how the processing of that container was doing, how many rows were migrated per minute and how many errors were generated as the deploy unfolds in real time. It looked like this:I miss my Container Processing Rates features :(For large containers, this was an early warning that we may need to wait for 3 or 4 hours to see this container fully migrated. It would let us investigate some errors while we waited for the migration to complete. It even help us to early-detect a few cases where the migration simply "got stuck" and nothing was moving ahead. Fast forward to the Data Migration Manager and now it seems that all that functionality is lost.Is there any place were we can find something similar? Although the “Background Jobs” screen let me see that a migrat

Business Lead "Duplicate Lead" Flag Not Checked

When I duplicate a lead and save it with the exact same name and association no, the “Duplicate Lead” box is not getting checked.When I click Save, I do get a pop-up notification asking if I want to view the duplicate.How can we get the “Duplicate Lead” box to be checked? Is there additional setup needed or criteria we are missing? We have tried this in both Aurena and IEE. Below is our current setup for the Duplicate check Action Setup and Duplicate Check Rule:

Project and Cascading Cost

We are currently using IFS 10/UPD 18. We currently have all parts setup as average cost/cost per part.  We also use the project system for shop order processing. Our issue is that due to IFS cascading cost revaluation entries, projects we have closed completely, from the project itself to the financial project, are being created. These are due to average costing changes. We understand the cause. The problem is that outside of the fact we do not want a project to be touched after it is closed, these same transactions become posting errors because the project is closed. The only way to get them to post is to open up the financial project, open up the project and open up the activity.  Outside of turning on lot/batch control/changing the project after it is completed, to non-capitalization, does anyone have a superior solution? Thanks,Rich
