Edit fields in Cloud - consistency? expectation?

Could someone advise what my expectations should be as to under what circumstances I can simply click into a field and can edit it vs having to click the ‘pencil’/edit icon first before being able to edit, please?EG Receive Inventory Part - click in field and can edit Customer Order Lines - have to click ‘pencil’/edit to change quantity It would be useful to have an explanation to pass on to users.Thanks!Linda

Undo for "Issue Inventory Part" Screen

Hello;When I receive a pdf report via IFS Cloud (23R1), exceed. The result is returned as on the screen and the output preview does not work. I will clear the print_job_tab table, but I'm not sure it will be a good solution. Has anyone encountered this problem? Thanks..

Cloud: Use API to import accounting vouchers

HelloI can’t figure how to import data into accounting vouchers using the API”s. First I looked at the VoucherHandling API but there are only GET functions and some PATCH but no POST to insert data in the Voucher entity.I suppose that this table is protected and I tried to use the ExternalVoucherHandling to insert data in the ExternalVoucheSet as the file import in IFS does.There is a POST function to insert lines in the ExternalVoucheSet but it ends up with the following error:":"ORA-20111: ExtLoadInfo.FND_RECORD_NOT_EXIST: The Ext Load Info does not exist." So I supposed that I needed to create first an ExtLoadInfoSet as a title for the lines.In this API there are no POST functions with a json payload but a function called ExtLoadInfo_DoCreateVoucher.I have tried to call this function with 2 parameters: Company = XXX , LoadId=2 but I get this error:Payload: {"error":{"code":"ODP_RESOURCE_NOTFOUND","message":"Resource not found."}} This seems to indicate that the function does not e

API Call within Advanced Search IFS Cloud

Apologies if this has been asked.I am looking to created an advanced search within the Inventory Part in Stock screen within IFS Cloud. I want to be able to retrieve a list of stock records which are classified as Manufactured Parts.Within EE you could add in API calls to advanced searches,inventory_part_api.get_type_code(contract,part_no) = ‘Manufactured’Does anyone know the options for this rather than added a custom attribute within this screen? Unrecognized command, NOTHING IS DONE! error in Demand Planner Client 6.0.3.7

So we are running IFS Apps 10 Update 20 (Enterprise Explorer) and have installed Demand Client 6.0.3.7. We have a running Demand client server (SfdPrdWinAtlu01) and are connecting on Port Number 5010. We initially were getting an Invalid password or username error. After finding the User Demand Access screen in IFS and resetting password on our user, we were able to get past that error and now are getting this, which is less than helpful. I checked the C:\Program Files (x86)\IFS Applications\Demand Plan Client\Log Files\ folder, and unfortunately there’s nothing there. Has anyone else seen this error before or have any ideas?

IFS 9 to IFS Cloud Integration Question

Hi everyone,Current IFS version: IFS apps 9 EETarget IFS version: IFS cloud 23R2 (hosted on prem by us) Today in IFS9 we have several applications (built by us) that are connecting to our database directly to “interface” with IFS. We have several oracle users that handle these connections, created as IFS fnd users. These users are granted access to the database API package methods via permission sets, and are set as inactive in the IFS application as they never actually log into the app and the oracle user handles everything.Example: User logs into non-IFS app and enters information about a purchase order. That application connects to the database hosting IFS as an appropriate oracle user, calls {app_owner}.purchase_order_api.new and creates the purchase order. We are in the process of upgrading to IFS cloud. In IFS cloud this presents us with two issues: Oracle users backing IFS fnd users are removed and permission sets are no longer mapped to oracle roles. We attempted to remove the

Hello,After IFS Cloud update to 24R1 version there is no possibility to use Document Repository with Repository Type “Shared”.Client used Repository Type “Shared” and all document files were kept there. After upgrade client cannot access document files from Document Revision. Receives error: Error in downloading file: one or more errors occurred.First question: How to reach the document files after upgrade to 24R1 version if they are uploaded to repository with type „Shared“?***We tried to create new repository with file type „File Storage“, in the field „Path“ (in the form „Repositories“). When uploading the document file to Document Revision, document file is put to the docman place, but not into the certain catalog for the certain Document Class:And document file uploaded to repository is not named by „Repository File Name“.Second question: How should be created new repositories with repository type „File Storage“ that document files could be uploaded to the exact folder of the cert

Alternate Part Cost Calculation

Hi all, I am trying to calculate the part cost for an alternate different than ’*’. I have set up a product structure with alternate ‘*’ and alternate ‘1’. For testing purposes, both alternates have the same components. Both alternates have the buildable status. When I calculate the cost set 5 for alternate ‘*’, no problem is found, and the cost is correctly calculated. When I try to calculate cost set 5 for alternate ‘1’, I get the message that ‘Manufacturing/Purchase Structure is not found’. In the message log i see that ‘No Buildable/Plannable Structure Revision Found’ The structure exists and is in buildable state. Am I missing something? Is there anyone used to work with cost calculation for different alternates who has been through this issue before? Regards

Demand Plan Server Run Forecast

In IFS 9, we were able to run the demand plan server steps more than once per month. In IFS 10, we are getting a message that it is not allowed. Our steps require us to do this but we keep getting the message “The period has already been aggregated. Create forecast can only be ran once per period”. How do we get around this? We’ve been told to just “ignore the error” but that does not work.

New Application for Payment, Project ID field is blank, why?

From Sales Contract I’ve started the creation of a new Application for Payment (AFP). In the dialog, shown below, there is a field called Project ID. The pulldown has no values, not even for the project to which the sales contract is connected. What is this field for? How is it used? Why aren’t there any values inserted by the application when the dialog is opened? Example AFP showing Project ID

Lobby Date Parameter Issue

Hello,I am facing an issue in the lobby while including the date parameter. The data is not populating in the lobby.Cloud version - 23R1 (Note - We need the date as a datatype to get the calendar below to pick the desired date from the calendar) In the main view, the date (balance_date) is formatted as “DD-MON-YY”The page parameter uses the format “YYYY-MM-DD”.Subquery’s date (balance_date) is also formatted as “DD-MON-YY”.The picture below shows the format as “DD/MM/YYYY”, but in reality, it is using the format “YYYY-MM-DD”.Page Parameter Lobby PageThe below is the condition in data source designer. Data Source where conditionWhen i tried running the same condition by hardcoding all parameter in sql developer, the query runs successfully.
