User unable to make decision

Using version 11.5. I need help ugh I created a process with an automated decision that brings the user to a manual decision with a Y/N answer. For some reason, they can say no but cannot choose yes. When they choose yes, the error below is what they get. I went to the sub-process and the next stage is an automated email action which then goes to an auto-decision. I’ve provided the two processes to show you. First process with auto decision Sub-process they can’t make the Yes Decision - Government Employee Sub-sub process that the yes is attached to Error received Troubleshooting done: I have checked the SVD to ensure they have the ability to use Decision Required, I have checked the user to ensure she is in the right SVD to make the decision, I checked the Action Type to ensure SVD can use it. Everything seems ok. Got another user from that SVD to try and same error. We assigned it to another user from a different SVD and he was able to choose yes. Also checked to see if they can make

Shipment Orders not visible in Register Arrival screen

Hi, I am playing around with the Shipment Orders functionality and I have seen in other topics here that it is possible to receive items via the Register Arrival screen but the shipment orders are not being displayed. I have tried creating a Shipment Order using the Material Requisition tab from a Request Work Task (with the Supply Code = Service Location), as well as manually (from Site to Remote Warehouse). In none of the cases are the shipment orders shown in Register Arrival screen. Am I missing any configuration? I am using 24R2. Thanks

Manual supplier invoice not automatically changing to PostedAuth

In both APPS10 & Cloud ‘Create posting at invoice entry’ option is enabled under company basic data. Also, not using posting proposal. Accordingly, in APPS10 once you hit the ‘save’ button after PO matching it automatically change the status from PrelPostedAuth to PostedAuth. However, in Cloud, it will not automatically change the status to PostedAuth once you complete the PO matching. You need to manually click on ‘Post Invoice’. Is this the standard behaviour in Cloud or is there any workaround available?

Hello, I tried working with the Sustainability Management module, and I think I understand the principle of how it should work. But I am not able to work with KPI data sources (e.g. creating new ones, editing, etc.)? I’ve tried using this functionality, but I’m not able to do anything…. Thank you

"Pricing Contribution Margin Control" Set up

Hello, I came across “Pricing Contribution Margin Control” and was wondering if it can be used to control the contribution margin on a business opportunity or sales quotation or customer order or is it ONLY applicable to sales price list as stated in the IFS documentation. I see it working on the sales price list, but hoping it’s some data set up I am missing and that it’s not native IFS functionality. Thank you!

How to read attachment data in a workflow/event action?

Hello, We currently store our emails to customers as attachments on case contact log entries. Is there a way in a workflow or event action to open that file, read the data in that email attachment? I just need the exact date the email was sent, which if you open up a .eml file, it saves it on the 3rd line. I’m very new to document management but I thought I’d ask and see if this is possible in IFS Cloud. Thanks, Bryan

File Storage support for build place environments

Transfer Document - DB - Docmain

Hello community, Customer needs to transfer document from DB to Storage. The following steps were our test after we added a new document on an inventory part: activate repository * (Default) - Status set to 'Generating' which is set to Database deactivate repository TEST (this is where the document class is set to Klasse 200-400) – Status set to 'Usable' check-in Doc -> this is then saved in * (DEFAULT) so the database (this is correct) Then activate repository TEST (Generating) und deactivate * (Default) (Usable) select repository * and transfer option is activated Select transfer – From Default to TEST – select file to transfer and finish. Where does our file end up? this part did not work. We could not find our file in the docman. The file is definitely gone. The next test it didn't show as available for transfer anymore but we also couldn't open the document anymore. Does anyone have some experience with this? Thank you very much. Jiri
