Hello Community,

There is a requirement from a construction client, before they award the project they want to do the tendering process in IFS. Is there any direct solution for that in IFS? In subcontract at the time of sub contract creation we have to select the supplier at the header level. So that actually after awarding the contract. Customer’s requirement is :

  1. Create and Manage Tenders
  2. Tender Publication
  3. Service Request Workflow
  4. Bidder Communication
  5. Submission of Proposals multiple vendor
  6. Addendum and Updates
  7. Tender Evaluation
  8. Award and Notifications

Thanks,

Jewel Parvez

Hi @HoiJewelP,

There is a command in the header of the Sub Contract to go to the Suppliers section, where you can add suppliers as well as submit an invitation to tender for each one. You can also see here which specific Line/Item revision this refers to:

If you subsequently go to the Award dialog, you can select the supplier to award the contract to from the list of values:

Hope this answers the question.

Kind regards,
Johan

Hi @HoiJewelP ,

Perhaps I misunderstand, but you should not have to set the Supplier on the Sub Contract header as you create it. Instead you can create the Sub Contract, define your line items, and submit as invitation to tender to multiple suppliers. Once you have selected the supplier you can then award the contract to this supplier.

Hope this helps.

Kind regards,
Johan

At the time of sub contract submit invitation we need to fix one supplier. Can you send it to multiple supplier like we do in Purchase RFQ Process? @Johan Lagerström
