Have you ever experienced a situation where certain users cannot view the “Address Edit” window in IEE? Basically, the Address Edit window is shrunk and only the title bar is visible. The tools for resizing aren’t also available.

We have few users experiencing this. Any input will be appreciated.

Thanks @wahelk , but changing the resolution didn’t help. I adjusted both “resolution” and “text size” options from recommended to different figures back and forth, but it didn’t help.

Hi @Manulak

Check user profile of affected users and see if users have anything set for User/Windows/Features/dlgAddressEdit node. If some entries are there, delete the whole node and try

Cheers!

Thanks @dsj

But there’s no entry for the dlgAddressEdit both in personal and base profiles. In fact, the same user can see the window correctly in a different pc, means that the issue is pc-specific.

Therefore I suspected the clickonce deployable files, but removing the entire \AppData\Local\Apps\ didn’t help either.

Could that be a registry-related issue?

Since the issue is PC specific, try deleting C:\Users\<userid>\AppData\Local\IsolatedStorage also. I hardly think it’s registry related but you never know :D

ps. If users have Roaming profiles setup,  the location should be C:\Users\<userid>\AppData\Roaming\IsolatedStorage

Cheers!

@dsj - I tried removing the AppData\Local\IsolatedStorage, but it didn’t work unfortunately.

In addition, we don’t use roaming profiles too.

That’s weird as I thought the removal of isolatedstorage would definitely work :-\
