Pre-posting Distribution automatically checked

Hi, 

Some setting that would automatically create a pre-posting distribution?   Nothing that I have ever seen.    The distributed pre-posting is typically (if used) something that world be manually keyed / entered.  Once entered the distribution box is checked. 

Maybe you can look into a custom event. I believe a custom event could have done the automated distribution entry.

Hi Manilka,

if you mark the PO line and navigate to Purchase Order line History, maybe you find the User which set uo the PrePosting respective the distribution. If it is a technical user or IT User, it would underline Thomas point of custom event. If not you see which user set up the destribution.

We checked and there isn’t a custom event. However, we do have the Create FA Object per Unit checked and I think this is what is causing the distribution split. Don’t understand the logic of why it is automatically checked and can’t un-check the distribution check.

Also noted that its happening for Part and no-part order lines.

if you use the create FA Object per Unit function, IFS creates Fixed Asset Objects based on the quantity which was entered in PO line. So if you purchse 2 pieces, IFS will create 2 new Fixed Asset Objects and Splitt the Distribution with 50% per Object.

It is not possible to uncheck the checkbox in PO line, but you can deled the distribution in PrePosting manully. After that checkbox will be unchecked.
