Can’t we use below two screens to decide the status of Shop order instead of site stetting “Create SO in Planned status”

+23The Create SO in status Planned setting in Parameters for Distribution and Manufacturing controls the default value for the same parameter on site level when a new site is created. On earlier versions (before apps 10?) I think this parameter directly controls whether the status of a shop order should be created in Planned or Released status.
The parameter in Character and Numeric Value Defaults I believe is obsolete and has no impact. It should ideally be removed in future versions.
