Hi All,

We are experiencing slowness with our IFS Apps9 installation. We have been live with IFS for two years now and most recently have had the database services go down with “Unable to Allocate Shared Pool Memory error”

We would like to analyze the AWR report but as we understand, the ASFU licensing of Oracle Enterprise Edition does not include diag and tuning package needed for the same. Is our understanding right?

Any experience with working with the statpack or experiencing with procuring the diag and tuning pack through Oracle is much appreciated.

We purchase the diagnostics and tuning packs through IFS. You are correct that the Enterprise Edition ASFU does not include these, but the additional cost of each of these is relatively small by comparison to the actual Oracle and IFS licenses.
