Hi,

In Aurena when you go to ‘Customers - CRM’ ( Relationship Management > Customer Relationship Management > Customer > Customers - CRM) it is not editable. I know that it can be edited by selecting details as shown below.

But if you go to Application Base Setup --> Enterprise --> Customer --> Customers it is editable as you can see below.

Is there any reason for this?

Thank you,

Jinal

Hi @Jinal Ranathunga,

Yes, as you mentioned, 'Customer - CRM' and 'Customers - CRM' pages are new pages designed for Aurena which offer very specific CRM related functionalities. So there might be some limitations when providing operations such as ‘edit’, 'delete' for a customer record in the CRM context (due to the difference of the data structure dependencies - i.e: views, keys) in an overview page.

But as you mentioned, In Aurena, there are 'Customer' and 'Customers' pages under Application Base Setup -> Enterprise Customer -> Customer which maps with the IFS application’s enterprise customer data structures directly so that the edit, delete operations can be performed directly with those particular data.

You can also refer this thread which has discussed the same topic.

RnD’s response is as follows.

“Because of a limitation in the Aurena framework it was not possible to edit fields in an overview page if it contained columns from different entities. The Customers-CRM page has columns from different entities so when the page was developed we could not make it editable”.

Is there a way to configure the Projection by adding new entity associations to the Customer - CRM page?

Hi @nick.twachtman ,

It will be better to create a new community post to get answers for this and to clear any doubts regarding this.
