Hi there!

We want do use the average capacity of a work center to calculate the lead time of our routings. I know you can calculate the average capacity for a single work center, but we have a large number of work centers on witch we have to calculate the average capacity on a regular basis.

Is there a background job, that can be scheduled to calculate the average capacity of all work centers of a site.

Thanks,

Chris

You could create a new Database Task for Component MFGSTD using the Method shown below.

Not sure what the Cloud equivalent may be (or even if it’s what you’re looking for) but this exists in Apps9

Hi Linda,

In IFS Cloud there is the average and the demonstrated capacity of a work center.

These fields are not calculated by the background job ‘Calculate Work Center Ressource Capacity’,  but manually by ‘Calculate Average Capacity’ of one work center.

In my understanding, this calculation cannot be scheduled from this assistent, which presents us with challenges at this point.

The average or demonstrated capacity ist used to calculate the lead time of a routing alternative.

@PRODQ Does the lead time calculation of a routing alternative work differently in Apps9? Have I misunderstood the connections?

Chris

Sorry, I thought you wanted to calculate work centre capacity and I thought that was the job that did it.

Hello
You must create a database task schedule with the Database Schedule “Calculate Daily Capacity”.
