Hello, We have a shop order with a main product and a by-product. A user is asking why the by-product does not appear as a supply on the part’s inventory part availability planning page.  Does or should IFS treat a by-product has a supply signal from a shop order? For context, the part that is the by-product is also part of the materials to be issued. Please see attached screenshots below. Any information or context would be appreciated. We are currently running IFS Cloud 23.1.7. Thanks,Kyle

The same product is added to multiple lines in the same purchase order. When the relevant products are received, the purchasing control analysis opens more than one receiving record for the same order and the same material. I want to do single-entry quality control for the same order, same material but different lines. How can I resolve this situation?   

Community, When I was entering a Parked Supplier Payment, I was requested to enter Series ID. then I am using LOV trying to select one value, but the LOV is empty. Wondering where to have this basic data created? 

Im facing an issue now with PO stgaes (on PO lines) where they receive and the Approval both are showing on the sub project navigator. i was trying to exclude the project in the receiving porsing (M197) but the system doesnt allow me to chnage this setting:At the end it sors itself out but befor the last stage is handled its sitting both in the navigator and connected to the project.. were it gives a drop menu...so it looks like its changeble.. anyone has  a sollution or experience with this one?  

Hi Everyone,I am currently experiencing an issue in the "Prepare Work Order > Requisitions" process. When creating a requisition for a non-inventory purchase part, the system generates a planning line. As we proceed to process the Purchase Requisition (PR) and convert it into a Purchase Order (PO), and subsequently register the arrival for the PO, cost lines are created against the work task.However, if we need to cancel the receipt and the PO, and then reopen the requisition, we encounter a problem. When attempting to delete the PR line, the system displays an error stating that the PR line is connected to a cost line. Furthermore, changing the status of the work task to "Finished" triggers the same error message.This seems like a potential bug to me. Has anyone else encountered this issue, or does anyone have insights on how to resolve it?Thank you in advance for your help!

Hi, Can we set the planning method in the transfer template, so the inventory part has it directly and it’s not just A? In the help, it says it does, but where? Or which field should be added using Page designer? Part Transfer TemplateThe part transfer template is a pre-defined template of inventory part information. It can include part planning information and the planning method. The part transfer template also includes inventory and manufacturing part attributes. It further includes attributes that control the transfer of alternate components defined in engineering. The template can be used in the the conversion from engineering parts to inventory parts, based on the part type. If the template does not exactly match the desired attributes, you can select one of the inventory part windows and update the information. 

I received the question if it is possible to change some default values when opening the rental workbench page. The reason is that some users should only see Purchase order rental type and others can see all rental types. We want to ensure that users cannot make a mistake by selecting the wrong value.I have been able to add default values in different screens with the help of workflows.However on this page, nothing seems to work.I would like to automatically fill in the filter ID or change the toggle value of some rental types to false.If this works, then i can hide the toggle buttons in the page designer, based on the filter ID. In the workflow i use the following:

Hi all, Just wanted to know in Cloud if the streams notification is supposed to pop up on already opened pages (the red number). Currently the users don’t get the red number (so they don’t know they have got a notification). It appears if they do a browser refresh. They can see the notification if they manually click on it, though.  TIA

Apps 10 - UPD19Hi All,I have installed a fresh middleware (from the build home) on a Linux Oracle server (running in Oracle OCI). Installation went well with no issues to report.The issue is that when I try to enter IFS (via the IFS landing page), I am getting this error message ..  Any idea what is causing this .. When creating an Inventory Part from an Engineering Revision through Part Transfer Template , is there any place to set the Planning Method?  or Is it always ‘A’ and we have to manually change it?

We supposed to dispose of a fixed asset to get another vehicle. It means there are no cash proceeds involved, and we are getting a new vehicle instead of old one. However, when we use the sale of object option, we are getting different entries. We couldn't identify the loss of disposal transaction accurately. Actually, we expect below things from IFS.Recognize new vehicle. Remove old vehicles from the books recognize the loss.However, the expected results do not match the current setup of posting controls. How or where is the flag for “Is shop floor employee” checked in the manufacturing labor class tables? 

Suppose I have a resource (person) that’s in 2 resource groups e.g. Capacity 60% in Group 1, 40% in Group 2.Then i make a direct allocation of that resource to a Request Work Task for 1 hour.That 1 hour shows as a demand/load on both resource groups.  Is that correct?

Hi All, We are in the process of migrating from APPS8 to IFS Cloud and I’m having trouble updating a particular user profile so that I can use it to access IFS Cloud. I have chosen one of the simplest users (minimal screens/functions available) which requires minimal modifications.I have allocated the appropriate, I think, Projections to a Permission set for this user but when I try to log on I get a number of popup windows with errors relating to Profile and Person info.See below:- Can anyone point me in the right direction to help resolve my difficulties with logging on to IFS Cloud please? Cheers,Neil. 

Can a financial project be closed and reopened more than once?  In testing, I’m having issues doing it a 2nd time, wasn’t sure if that might be due to customizations we have done or if that is base functionality to only allow a financial project to be reopened one time.

Hi all,We have CRM companion 10 touch apps and i need to know how you can a filter to the business opportunity in the mobile screen (not permissions) so a user can filter on status. When you click on filters on the bottom it just shows blank where as the customers button does show filter options but i cannot see any difference in their setup.I have spent a good deal of time looking around all the options and i cant see a way of doing it.Thanks

Hello Everyone,I created a custom attribute of type "Reference," which points to the project view. When I added the field to my page, it appeared as a hyperlink. Hello All, I am using IFS Apps 10 UPD 22, and I have setup and activated an Inventory Control Plan for a part that is currently in stock. I have scheduled daily checks, however, I have noticed they are not creating. I attempted to manually create one via RMB on the control plan header, however, I received an error message. I have confirmed I have the necessary permission grants. According to the help, I have completed all necessary prerequisites, and I’m at a loss as to why it would be generating an error.
