I’ve been testing out seasonal profiles in demand planner (Cloud 23R1), but I am struggling to understand the results and hoping someone may be able to explain the detail. My understanding is when you create a seasonal profile and then apply it to a forecast, the total forecast sum will be adjusted by the seasonality index for each period. To test, I created a forecast part & single base flow. I then created a manual seasonal profile for the part. I created the forecast (18 months, Best Fit) , then compared the figures with and without the seasonal profile applied. Questions:Why does the total forecast sum for Y1 reduce from 166,905 to 102,596? If I calculate the seasonality index based on the 102,596, for Y1, it lines up, but I cannot explain where the 102,596 has come from? Why is the system forecast Jan-June Y2 now the exact same values as Jan-June Y1 when seasonality is applied? Before seasonality is applied Y2 system forecast values are different.

Hi,I had to partially rollback a supplier payment that had been created using supplier payment proposal. This is because the invoice was not coded correctly and was stopping me from activating a fixed asset. I have added the invoice back on, created a 0 value mixed payment to match the invoice to the parked payment that was sat as SUPOA. However, the actual payment on the supplier account is still there, how do i cancel or remove this payment? It is showing in the Supplier Ledger Open Items and is incorrect.I’ve attached screenshots showing the mixed payment matching, as well as the supplier payment on account still remaining after the matching has taken place.Thank you

Hi!  We are having an issue this month when running the Periodical Capitalization and Revenue Recognition where some Completed/Closed Projects are pulling into the data as if they are open.  To be clear, the Completed Date on the projects are October 31st and we are trying to run the revenue recognition for that same month of October.  My understanding is that once a project is closed, it should no longer be eligible for revenue recognition, even if it was closed that same month.Has anyone seen this before?  Is there a setting somewhere that could have been changed that would cause this?

 The Business Calendar in IFS Cloud is topping at 4pm ?Any possibility to adjust the view ? Most users require a time span of 8am-6pmThe only option is: “SHOW FULL DAY”, which makes the calendar twice as long as needed and unfortunately, this setting is not saved in the personal profile. 

Blanket PO is where we get approval for first PO line and we add subsequent PO lines within the approved amount. However, once we enable “Project Unique Procurement” check box at project level; it is not possible to add subsequent lines to the PO due to below error.   Is there a workaround for this or any other way of creating a bulk PO from purchase order window itself.

I have created a custom SLA screen in Ui designer similar to the "Setting Up Priority" screen. While the file uploads successfully, the uploaded file does not appear in the popup on the same screen, unlike the original screen where the uploaded file is immediately visible. Could you please suggest how we can fix this issue?

Hi All, We have an Apps10 environment hosted on the IFS hosted cloud. In the last 10 days we have had the environment go down 7 times because of stuck threads. We have had a similar situation in the past and it was diagnosed to be from the parallelism set on the RMAN backups. While we thought that was resolved the issue has resurfaced. I am reaching out to the community to see if anyone has experienced similar event due to MWS stuck threads and how have you resolved it?

Can you deactivate a non-inventory Purchase Part so it cannot be used again?  Essentially, it is obsolete with not replacement.  I can’t find a way to keep it from being requested on a purchase requisition.

We’re trying to model a process in IFS CLOUD in which a Customer who is in receipt of a Product returns it to our client along with a request for some modifications. The Customer will provide an order for this work. When the Customer order is released we run part specific MRP to create the action proposals and then use one of these action proposals to create a Shop Order. We then manually peg the Customer Order line to the Shop Order.The problem we’re facing is that the Part that the Customer has ordered from us is a Manufactured Part, and although we have a Part Revision, Product Structure and Routing in the system to enable us to Remanufacture it, when we try to process it using MRP all of the data generated for the Shop Order is using the data for the Manufactured Part rather than for the Remanufactured part that we need.We can try to work around this by Manually creating the Shop Order using the Remanufacturing Data Set and then peg that to the Customer Order Line, or, we can creat

We had an issue where the Print Agent died and when we rebooted, everything began working normally, and new print jobs flowed fine, but there are still over a dozen jobs in “Print Manager” stuck in “Working” status. Any ideas? Thanks!

Can a Change Order be used to CHANGE/UPDATE the Item Quantity on a Sub / Sales Contract?  As far as I can tell CCOs seem to only be capable of creating new Contract Line/Items. I would like to be able to use change orders to manage variations and update the Item Quantities on Sales and Sub Contracts.  ThanksTom

Hi,We currently have a need from time to time to correct current absence limits (Total Unused Hours) in IFS Cloud.  Mostly due to data entry errors.From doing some searching it seems this was possible in earlier versions of IFS, but there doesn’t seem to be away of doing this in IFS Cloud. We not using carry forward limits so it’s not possible to do this via import unused limits. Am I missing something?

We are implementing MWM 8.2 and adding over Appointment slots at over 40 service centers with anywhere from 1 to 5 time slots. To my knowledge this is a manual effort, but wanted to ask the group if there was an easy button? 

I have previously posted a question on this but had no response.  I need to record the serial number of a part when necessary. This requires a data transaction to 2 tables. This is my code. Hello, I am using IFS Cloud 24R1 and we use SFWB to generate QA analysis from a manufacturing Control Plan. It appears that the new way to enter results is through a guided workflow that steps through each check and provides a pass/fail after clicking the checkbox. While this is beneficial, we are seeing that it can add a significant amount of time if you have a Control Plan that has 30+ checks. The table view in IEE made it easier to enter results quickly. Are there any other ways to modify the process for entering an analysis results to streamline the process? On average, we do 2,000+ analysis per week, so any method to increase the ability to enter results quickly would be beneficial. Thank you!

Hello everyone,This is your daily dose of issue.As we can not use a command group to order a report made with business reporter, I chosen to perform the business report generation through API rest calls on a webapp.The business report requires shop order no, release no and sequence no parameters.I went on the order report page to simulate the calls made and replicate those on my webapp.I use an IAM client with this configuration :When I use Postman with this account, no issue, the report is created and filled with data.When I use my webapp with the same account, I have no issue with rest calls (HTTP 2xx) , recovering data in responses to build next calls, everything look fine.But when I download the report, this one has the same structure, but data is empty, cells are not filled.Here is PHP source code of prototype :https://pastebin.com/bUf4XuMt

Hi colleagues,We have a customer who is able to produce and ship the demanded part quantity the same date the customer order is created (with ‘today’ as wanted delivery date). They will then, create the customer order (CTO process), handle the shop order process and delivery at customer’s address all in the same day.Usually they stock WIP and when needed they are pulled to build and ship the same day. Before agreeing the ship date they need to be sure they have enough materials (including WIP) and they want to use the capability check for that purpose.However Capabiilty check will consider as not feasible anything that is planned earlier than first working day after today’s date so capability check and same day shipping are not compatible.I got some questions:¿Is the availability check an alternative for them? I have a persistent, multiselect custom field in Aurena in the Business Opportunity Screen but it is missing from the search filters that I can choose from at the header level. Normally, when I add custom fields to a screen in Aurena, that field becomes an option as a search filter. Is this restricted to multiselect custom fields or am I missing something? The LU is synced and it is working perfectly in Aurena, I’m just not sure why it isn’t showing up as an option in the search filter drop down.

We are getting a lot of Handling Units in the application that are empty. Has anyone been able to clean these up somehow? It seems not be possible to delete these:   

In Work Task Template from there is Tab “Task Template is Used”, and contains several cards, which allows to jump to another form, i.e. PM actions where particular WTT is used. Client expects not to see some of cards-links. In Page designer under the Tabs cannot find how to make them invisible.
