IFS Managed Cloud Connectivity with on Premise servers

In IFS Managed Cloud, direct connectivity from an on-premises network to the Oracle database (PL/SQL) is not supported due to security and architectural constraints. Instead, integrations must be performed via supported interfaces such as IFS Connect or REST/OData APIs. IFS Connect allows external applications to securely invoke PL/SQL methods through message-based integration using HTTP/SOAP endpoints.

In scenarios requiring private network communication, a VPN connection between the customer network and the IFS Cloud environment can be established, subject to approval.
