Hello @paguin ,

Currently, the IFS Cloud Middle Tier is officially supported on Ubuntu Server (22.04 LTS) as per the IFS supported platforms documentation.
https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/25r1/070_remote_deploy/040_upgrading_system/010_preparing_server/50_windows_managementserver/

At this time, RHEL is not listed as a supported operating system for the Middle Tier. While it may technically run on RHEL, it would be considered outside the standard IFS support scope.
For full vendor support and compatibility, Ubuntu remains the recommended OS.

Thanks,
Hardik

@hardik ,

thanks for your reply. I m aware on Ubuntu support. wanted to check if RHEL is supported or not. As Ubuntu is open source and security is a concern. Ubuntu Pro is still better.

regards

Pankaj

IFSCloud middle tier currently does not provide a published installation method for RHEL. So officially, it is supported only on Ubuntu.

It would be an appreciated improvement, if the IFS Cloud Middle tier could be installed on RHEL.

After many years with focus on open source, we realized that RHEL gives us a stable platform, where we can standardize security setup and monitoring. So Ubuntu is a cuckoo chick.
