25R2 - Does mail sender supports MFA

If you are asking, whether it is possible to configure IFS Mail Sender with an Microsoft 365 instance where MFA is enabled. Answer is yes it is possible.

You will need to create a Microsoft User, and configure Client ID / Secret, also get the access token and set it up as below.

When notifications are sent, it is not going to request an MFA authentication, but as this is an approved app (through the above settings), you emails will be sent out without issues.

IFS 25R2 does not support MFA directly for mail sender authentication, but it fully supports OAuth2, which is the correct mechanism to work with MFA enabled mail services.
