Morning

Is there any way to set the init value on start date on time clock to be today? Tried sysdate but it just puts the text sysdate in there. TIA.

Hey Chris,

Hope you’re well mate.

I’ve not got access to an environment I can use timeclock in at the moment, but could you try using one of the context substitution values here, to see if they work?

Either just TODAY (though I’m guessing this would just return the text, since sysdate is) or Context_Substitution_Var_API.Get_Client_Value__('TODAY')

Cheers,

Marcus

Hi Marcus,

Thanks for replying to this. Good to know you’re still at IFS.

I tried your suggestion but it just substitutes the text into the field. It’s not the end of the world, I was just hoping to automate the screen slightly as it’s not helped by the fact it expects the date in USA format.

Cheers, Chris.
