MRP Bottom up planing vs Top down

What is the difference between these Bottom up planning and Top donw planning ? They look like the same information.

OK ,I foud it. 
If I click 'Bottom up planning', the system will expand upward from the current BOM node to the top-level item(end item), thereby allowing me to clearly identify all sources of demand, including multi-level demand.
 

when I click 'Top down planning', the system will display the MRP information of the components expanded downward from the current level.
