One of the Customer wants to change the System date of an existing environment from UTC-5:00 Eastern Time (US & Canada) to US Central Standard Time (CST).

Is this Technically OK to do?  What would be the recommended way?

(as I know we can change the Time zone of the Database and Application server and no reconfiguration required, but need to verify before I go ahead)

Would this have any impact on Functional side of the Application?

Your comments on this highly appreciated.

Hi @SUP_SAM ,

technically this shouldn’t create any issues. One thing i suggest you check once the time zone is changed is the database processes to make sure they are running OK.

You are probably better off doing a restart of the app server instance as well to clear out any session tokens, etc.

Cheers.

Thank You Sajith for the suggestions, I will follow this when I am doing this to the Customer.
