Hello,

We are on APPS10 and would like to get a clarification from the community who is in the know.  

We are trying to configure and use the EMAIL event action to send out notifications for various outward facing documents.  i.e. (Customer order conf, PO order conf, Payment advices, customer invoices, etc).  

We have been having issues setting up this up in IFS. 

 

Our 3rd party consulting group claims IFS has removed this functionality in APPs10 or perhaps it’s broken and needs to be patched in another version?  They suggested using Report Rules instead.

 

My question is does anyone know if this is true?  If so, is IFS aware and will fix the problem?

I know this event is working fine on Apps 10 UPD15 and it wasn’t removed by IFS. 

If you can describe the issue bit more or even screen capture, community should be able to help. 


The custom event action email works in Apps10 and IFS Cloud.

 

Report Rules is just an alternative option depending on the complexity of your requirement.
