Possible causes

 

Invalid username and /or password

the user is not authorized to log in

the service is currently unavaiable

 

Please contact your system administrator if issue persist

User must have an active user account and Oracle login

User must be using the correct password

User must be granted at a minimum FND_ENDUSER within the permissions

User must have the correct domain selected the first time they login if you are using a domain setup OR they will at least need the proper path in the Connect To field on the login dialog

Can you first confirm whether you can connect to the database directly as the user?

Open a CMD on the database server and type the following command to logon as the user in question:

sqlplus <user_name>/<password>@<db_name>

YES connected to database directly

Temporarily update the user oracle default profile with IFSAPP profile

after successfully login profile reverted back
