Hello.Is it possible to update data on “on before object is changed”, on the inserted table ?I was thinking to make a custom even on the INVENTORY_PART_IN_STOCK_TAB table. Hi,It seems another very useful functionality we used to have in EE client has been changed apparently in Cloud. on editable overview forms we used to select rows and copy object and paste object to copy data between databases using EE client. It used to copy the objects to clipboard using IFS message format. Then Paste did the magical data import to another database. I can see this behaviour is changed in cloud, it seems the new “copy selected rows”, doesn't copy to clipboard, so there is no way to paste to another database.  If anyone found a quick and easy way to copy data, specially from useplace to buildplace, please let me know. Thanks in AdvanceSanj

i have several requests to create custom fields on IFS Pages and have encountered the same problem on more than one Page in IFS.Using one such example, I would like to add custom fields to Risk Analysis - when new Risk button is click.I click one the ‘New’ risk button & a screen pops up like below - but now my ‘user’ menu is not available so I am unable to switch on the Debug to find the information I need in order to add the fields needed on this page nor am I able to start the Page Designer. To me I interpret this as a system bug or serious limitation that it would appear I am unable to make the changes i want. It is not ideal to add them into the ‘grid’ on the page from where I navigated from - they are really required at this point of creating the data on the below screen. In IFS10 and 9 it was possible to write criteria's in the where clause of a data source as: column1 in (select column1 from ifsapp.view2 where Active =’True’)i.e. if column1 is present in another view and where clause is fulfilled, that whole select is valid. (I did not add view name and select, where for the view that would have to be entered own columns in data source editor)This does not seem to work in IFS Cloud using SQL data sources. Would it be possible to do anything similar using a projection? in that case, how?

Hello,We've noticed something strange. When you generate an IFS token, you receive both an access token and a refresh token. The role of the refresh token is to allow an access token to be regenerated without the user having to re-authenticate. So far, so good, but I've noticed that I can refresh the access token as many times as I like using the same refresh token. This seems to me to pose a security problem, because in my opinion, a refresh token should only be able to be used once. Does this behavior seem normal to you?Thanks.Théo

We are currently testing SSO on our Pre-Prod instance.  From what I understand SSO does not work with Crystal and I need to use the IFSADMIN account.  Are there any guides on connecting to SSO enabled instances using Crystal Reports,  OracleSQL Developer etc.Any help is much appreciated.Ryan 

Hello All,I’m encountering an issue with the background job responsible for releasing customer orders from Planned status. The job seems to get stuck with the status POST, and I have to manually intervene to change it to READY before the customer order can move from Planned to Released.I’ve confirmed that the order is not being blocked, as it would otherwise move to Blocked status.Does anyone have any ideas on what might be causing this issue? Hi All, In IEE i can choose EVENT_SYS.EVENT_EXECUTE for method name and set the event_id as my new custom event.  In 23R1 its not available.  Is there are another way i can trigger a custom event using a database task? Thanks,Dhanush

I’ve added event_sys.event_execute as a custom action via projection configuration. The action takes 3 parameters win which 2 of them are fine.The last parameter is of type message_sys in PLSQL, which creates a message with carriage return. But it seems like when mapping in page designer - it doesn’t allow to paste carriage return.question is, how can we go about this?we are simply trying to invoke an event that has an action with online SQL that puts an application message in the queue and sends it out using the traditional way.

Currently, we operate on a perpetual license model within Apps10 IE. We need clarification regarding the points mentioned below.1. Do we have the option to maintain the perpetual licensing model, or are we required to transition to a subscription license when we upgrade to IFS Cloud?2. Is IFS Cloud available for on-premises deployment with the IFS Cloud perpetual license?3. The same IFS10 Perpetual license can be continued without any additional cost in the IFS Cloud ( Cloud Perpetual License mode) .4. If we decide to surrender our perpetual Full User Licenses and Limited User Licenses, would this lead to a reduction in our current AMC costs?4. Hi all, Noticing something odd when trying to schedule an SQL quick report in IFS cloud. (24R1) (24.1.2)When scheduling an SQL quick report as any non administrative user, everything other than the parameters are unchangeable from their default values. After entering the quick report parameters, The Schedule, Schedule options, and archive options can’t be changed, but the user is still able to create the schedule. In the below image, I can not change the schedule name, or the recurrence pattern at all On the next page, I can’t change the language code, select the report cue, or send the stream notification. Hi,after transferring the database from Windows to Linux and enabling jobs, scheduled tasks do not run. Restarting the batchserver does not help, nor does re-enabling queues. Has anyone had a similar problem?

Hello, I am working on a workflow to display the clients IP address on their machine where the user located. We have an API that displays the Clients IP Address but we cannot display it on the client within a workflow. We were using inline JavaScript to push this to a variable. For some reason, we were facing issues whenever we call the fetch call to our API. We keep running into an error within the IFS workflow that we cannot call the fetch functionality within the JavaScript within the workflow. Has anyone been able to find a solution to get around this? Thank you. 

Hi, Looking for recommendations if any customers are using Azure Databricks to analyze data from IFS. How are you connecting to IFS and getting data from IFS?

After applying 23R2 (23.2.1) at a customer they noticed that after ordering an operational report through the order report screen and you want to go to the report archive to view the rendered report you get an error message saying that you are not granted when the report archive page is shown. Still, the report is there and you can open and preview it. I did some digging and the projection causing the error is <ReportProjection>.VirtualReport_CleanupVirtualEntity. But if you go to grant the report projection in question and try to grant the action CleanupVirtualEntity (which by the way is clearly visible in the API explorer) you can’t since there is no such action on the report projection. If you look at the OrderReportTemplate projection, there you will have the CleanupVirtualEntity action (granted that of course without effect) but the same action doesn’t show up in the actual report projections, e.g. the CustomerOrderConfRep projection grants.To me this seems

I have customised an entity and added new column.
