I’m facing an issue when trying to add a new custom action to a projection. The dropdown menu for PL/SQL Methods is empty, and says ‘No Data’. This dropdown should contain all the packages and methods available In the IFS database. Without the ability to select a PL/SQL method, we cannot add any Custom Actions at all. This is happening for standard as well as custom projections. Is this a known issue? I’m using IFS Version 10, Update 10.

NO DATA IN THE PL/SQL METHOD SEARCH WINDOW

In Support Environments this is working fine. Could it by a permission issue?

Were you able to get this resolved?  Our list has some PL/SQL methods but certainly not all of them and nothing that we created for ourselves.

HI @hansend .

Unfortunately we have not gotten this resolved yet. In our current IFS environment, we are not able to get any data for the PL/SQL methods. We are getting a new IFS environment setup, and we are able to get PL/SQL data in that one. It’s on update 8, but will soon be on update 10 like our current environment.

Right now we are waiting to find out if this issue is because we are on Update 10, or if it has to do with the current IFS environment we are using. Once the new environment is on Update 10 we will know.

Thanks for the quick response @ChaMylesC!  Sorry to hear you still haven’t gotten it resolved.  I am going to try to play around a little bit more but we are just getting our feet wet with Aurena so didn’t want to have to waste too much time.

Have you tried to refresh the dictionary cache? Not sure if that’s in play here but could be worth a try.

That happens quite a lot. When you open the pulldown, not every method in the database is listed there. You can click the Find button which will open a dialog where you can search for your method.

As tobese said, don't forget to refresh the dictionary cache as well (and maybe check your permission sets while you're at it).

It turns out this was an issue with our old IFS 10 environment. We are now able to get PL/SQL data in the dropdown when creating custom actions, in our new IFS 10 environment which is now on update 10.
