Hi,
Company templates are created to establish localized basic data / system set up suggestion on a country by country basis. For example The Swedish template will be very different from a US template, The countries have different needs.
If we have single standalone company - not part of a corporate structure, we would typically set up a company based on a local company template (assuming one is available).
You can see what’s in a company template by going into the company templates screen and navigating to the details.
If we are creating a company that is part of a larger corporate structure, then we may choose a different create company process and may decide to copy an existing company set up.
Many things do into that decision, so I’m not saying do x or y, You may do x or y depending on needs.
