What do you mean by the generic assumptions? Obviously there are multiple pre-requisites such as stable network and proper load balancing, recommended infrastructure along with the required hardware and applications according to the guide mentioned in the fsm install-updgrade documentation. Suggesting you to go through the documentation and validate this.
