Dear All,

How to upload and print A3 size files?

Kind Regards,

Hi @seyma

First you have to set the relevant “Object Connection” by inserting relevant attributes.

Service List should be “DocReferenceObject^”

You can upload documents to the required logical unit that you have insert under object connection as below;

If you want to print A3 size files, you can download the relevant file and print the document from your PC. Since your question is not clear, this is the best answer that I can provide.

Let me explain the full cycle. First, I add a work instruction to the operation in the shop order. Then, I add a drawing file to this work instruction. Finally, I print the work instruction report with the drawing load I added. However, some drawings need to be printed out in a way that they will appear larger and more detailed. For this, we need to size them as A3, not A4. How can we achieve this?

@seyma

I’m sorry to say that A3 paper printing option is not available in the report designer as well.

From my understanding, the best approach is to first you have to re-design the layout in A3 size by selecting 'Custom Format,' where you will need to set the relevant dimensions for A3 paper.

And when printing you can then choose “ Other” or Custom” option.

@seyma

If this is about printing an attached document that is stored in Docman, you probably need to download it first and then print it from the application on your PC that handles files of that file type. There you should be able to specify the paper size. I don't think you can automate this I'm afraid.

If this is about printing the report that is generated by IFS, I don't know the answer.

Thank you very much for your feedback.
