Business Lead records deleted in the process

Hi, 

It seems that the standard functionality for converting/merging a business lead to a customer results in IFS deleting the lead. Is there some way to stop IFS from deleting the buniness lead? Or another menu where we can still see the lead? Because we want to keep track of how many leads we bring in, and analyze on for example the source. 

I hope someone can help me on this.

Hi Simon,

I have checked this with the R&D team but unfortunately this will only be fixed in the next application version 21R1.

Hi Simon,

Unfortunately there is no other way of checking this information. And I also feel there should have been a track of the business leads came in.

Anyhow i will raise this concern with the R&D team and see what they have to offer.

As a workaround (albeit on IFS 10) we created the custom event to copy several Lead fields into newly created customer record custom fields. Not perfect as you need to reach two places to get lead statistics (lead table and customer table), but at least not loosing crucial information.
