due % calculation

I understand that "remaining to due" indicates the time left for work order generation.

However, I'm also interested in understanding the relevance of "due %" and how to interpret this in business terms. I would appreciate it if you could provide some insights into this. Formula is clear for me to calculate it.

Due% is basically the movement of system date with compared to the next planned date and last performed date, which gives an indication of overdue or due in future. It is calculated as a percentage value using last performed date, planned date, system date and interval.
It is a comparison value that can be used to compare different PMs (even with different generation types), how much overdue the next planned line/ongoing work order is. 

Ex.
If PM1 has the next planned line with Overdue% 300, (overdue)
and PM2 has the next planned line with Overdue% 200, (overdue)
and PM3 has the next planned line with Overdue% 100, (due today)
and PM4 has the next planned line with Overdue% 50 , (due in future, half way from when it was last performed to its due date) 
and PM5 has the next planned line with Overdue% 30 , (due in future)

When you query the above PMs in ‘Maintenance Plan Analysis’ or other overview page and compare the Due% value of above 5 PMs it is clearer that which PMs should be prioritized or take an action.
