Enable Use of Obsolete Products

Hi, for our customer, in Prompts(service) module, “Enable Use of Obsolete Products” is switched OFF. When we add a Material Demand in a service order, in the Product Lookup the obsolte products appear, it’s only if we select one of this products that the user has a pop’up message “You cannot add an obsolete product '…..' to a Material Demand.

Do you know if in a next version it will be possible to hide such products in the Product Lookup when “Enable Use of Obsolete Products” is switched OFF, and inventory qty =0.  (and add this option in the QBE of the lookup. Il the user switch ON this slider in the QBE, then list also the obsolete products...)

HI Philippe,

Alliance is now in a maintenance mode thus no new functionalities are planned to be added to the application.  Adding a search filter option to show/not show obsolete products within the service order product lookup is not planned.

To add this would be a custom request.  You do have the option to show only available parts which I would think if qty = 0 would mean no available parts.in the currently defined warehouse of the material demand.
