Sometimes our SAs take photos at customer sites, and we would like to include these on the service orders we send to the customers - very handy to document chargable work. I have tested with Customizer, but it does not look like we can a add this on the report. Or am I missing something? Would it be possible to get as a customization?

You can probably accomplish this without any customization by using the Checklist line functionality (you basically create a checklist that has a Photograph line on it and turn on the Attach to Order Report flag on the checklist line):
 

When the technician goes to complete the checklist they’ll be asked to take a photograph and then that picture will be included in the order report that is generated...so maybe link that checklist to a particular activity code or type of order and make the photograph line mandatory for those cases where you require the photograph to be captured by the technician.

I would use checklists which as it can be a simple checklist asking only if the work is completed and attach a photo as Reid suggests.

Otherwise it would be a customization to do it from outside the checklist as far as I am aware.

Signatures are photos that attach but this is via a custom macro if I recall.
