HI

Some customers which are in the process to upgrade to V15.4 are asking the following : in V14.5  (or trough the astea browser in V15) you were able to open  for example in the customer support qbe  the customer support selected in a new tab

in the web employee portal in V15.4SU5 we can’t do this or we don’t know how to do this or perhaps it will be in a future SU ?

thanks for your feedback

Christophe

Hi Christophe,

I was able to open a new tab from the link on the Search screen for the Customer Support module from QAC.

  • Generated a list of orders via the search
  • Did ctrl-click left mouse button on the second row’s link to the customer support order.  it opened a new tab to that order.

Can you check if this is working for you?

Just a note. It’s built in functionality of Web browser and works for any link on any page not just links in Alliance.

If you are interested in other mouse click options with tabs, you can check this article out from HowToGeek:
