Hello,

I'm using SAP Crystal Reports 2013 to create reports for IFS, similar to what my predecessor did successfully. I'm trying to establish a connection without specifying the port name, but the report only allows me to set the datasource location when I include the full server name along with the port. Otherwise, I receive an error.

I've checked my tnsnames.ora file in the oracle_home folder, and the service name appears to be correct with no typos.

However, when I use the full server name with the port in the report, the quick report in IFS fails to open and shows the error message “Failed to retrieve the report.”

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
