Hi All,

In IFS MWO Service app, there is a tile called ‘Mobile Integration’.
What does this do and what are the capabilities of this functionality.

Through an integration you can call for a web url directly from the MWO application with the possibility to pass values for place holder parameters. Something like https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=${MchCode}+manual  where value for the McHCode is passed on to the url via the object connected to the work task where integration is called from.

Additionally it can be used to call for a 3rd party app (Android only) from the MWO.

@skullk

I was thinking about configuring external REST Calls and getting a response directly to MWO (Windows app) but realised that this is sort of a basic Integration capability based on your answer.

Many thanks Sampath.

Best regards

Hello @skullk, i would like to obtain a little more knowledge about the topic.

Could you please provide an alternative to the link of the IFS Sharepoint, since i don’t have access?

Thanks in advance 😀

@skullk, Depending on how the application is written and the deep link that is generated, it can be used to open 3rd party apps on iOS as well as Android.

Thanks,

Lorren
