Hi,

I need to add a custom dropdown for UoM. Is there a way for me to utilize the stock UoM menu option as my enumeration? I searched for ISO_UNIT but I didn’t see it as an option.

I don’t think that I can use a reference because it can be different than the inventory part (or sales part or purchased part, etc) uom.

Thanks,

Mike

The stock UoM is a list of value so that can’t be used in an enumeration. The only obvious option is to create a reference field instead of an enumeration. Otherwise you could create a enumeration and keep it synchronized with a scheduled migration job.

This can be done, but rather than an Enumeration, you want a Reference.

This will work essentially the same way, but rather than a drop-down, the users will need to pick their choice from the List of Values dialog. In IFS Enterprise Explorer, this will be the menu they get when they hit F8.

You’ll need to first activate the ROWKEY on IsoUnit if you haven’t already.

My screenshots assume Apps 9.
