I have prepared a file type URL that is prepared for VIEW:

I followed the first option in the thread:

This option is to prepared a file locally with .url as file extension.

I am able to upload and connect the URL to an object, but the view icon is not presented. Only Edit, which makes no sense for this type of file.

Doc Revision is as above.

Anyone an idea how to get the View icon?

@matt.watters

Although I don't like the outcome (URL will not work for view option), I do appreciate that you answered so quickly.

What did you expect to happen here? That the View (eye icon) would open the link to that page that the URL goes to? That might be a security problem. It should not be hard for a user to download the URL file and make the browser open it though, and/or use the Aurena Agent and a document macro to open the URL automatically.
