Allowing employee self Authorization

Hello

Is it possible to setup Employee in a way that he could have access to see and authorize their own work in “Authorization” window?

Scenario: Some department heads wants to have a subordinate who would take over the “authorization” of the team including the mentioned employee. We use “Position - Access Setup” and “Graphical Organization Structure” → “Access” to grant mentioned employee a access to other subordinates and ability to “Authorize”, but this method does not allow self “Authorization”.

Hi,

Access attribute should looks like this.

If you want to give self access to only selected employees, you can create a new ‘self access role’ with the above attribute and then assign it to the given employee as follow.

 Hope this helps.

Hi,

All access to ones owns transactions and information is defined in the self access role. The default access role delivered by RnD does not include access to authorize your own transactions.

You have to create an alternative self access role with access to authorize - and assign this to the persons who should authorize themselves.

Hi Maria

Any chance you know which “Access Attribute” would we need to add to “Self Access Role” to enable “Authorizations” of self?
