Add extra lines to IMO after Ship list open

Forum|alt.badge.img+10

Hi,

When an IMO has material status >= Ship list Open OR >= Pick list Open OR = Pack list Open  the ‘add’ button on IMO is disabled, so you cannot add extra lines and create an second ship, pick of pack list for the new added product.

Is it possible by default to add new lines after ship, pick of pack list is open.

In v10 it seems it was possible to do this.

Can this be a change request if its not possible?

Or can this process explaned why this is designed compared with v10.

We are on Version 15.3.4(5)

Thanks.

Robin

Hi Robin,

R&D confirmed it is not supposed to be possible to extend the IMO:

IMO which has generated one of logistics documents cannot be extended with more material demands

This is not being considered for an RFE so no change request.

Hi Robin,

I will check on this but what you seem to be asking is to add lines having products to be shipped that were NOT related to the originating document (IMO) that was used to generate the pick, pack and ship documents.  I would not expect to be allowed to add additional products to the shipment as that document basically indicates the products were shipped per the IMO request itself.

There is nothing to indicate the originating request for these additional products if this should be allowed.  Alternate products changing the existing material demands is possible.

Hi Phil,

To clarify i mean add extra lines to the IMO not on shiplist, so the imo create a second shiplist for the extra added lines.

Ok, understood and I still would not think add would be possible as I believe it is normally a one-to-one relationship between the IMO document and the logistics documents but still will check this aspect.
