Absence Limit showing Incorrect

Hi,

I am facing an issue with mismatch in Unused Days in ‘Absence Limit Days’

Please see above screenshot, it is showing Days Used as 6 and Days Unused as 20. When clicking on Details, it is showing Unused Days as 18. I have checked employee has applied only 4 days leave, so why it is showing unused days as 18, it should be 20 days? How to correct this mismatch?

Thanks

I have done further investigation and found that in 2024, there was absence record for which it was reducing the balance from 2025.

Earlier it has considered the balance from Carry Forward leave, but later carry forward leave was removed.

The issue was corrected after doing Reallocate Limit option for 2024 absence. The balance is correct now.

Thanks

Hi,

In all absence limit pages you have an “account date” to set.

In absence limit days you have two columns - one showing days used/unused up until that date and the other one showing total used / unused days.

Check the date and see how the number of used days change in the two columns.

Regards,

Maria

Thanks @ADDMARIAE  for your quick response

Please see as on 31/12/2024, employee is having sufficient unused days.

Previous year leave was not carry forwarded. Employee was credited 24 days annual leave from beginning of the year (i.e. 01/01/2025).  It is showing 2 days in ‘Used Days”.

Could you please help me where I can check about why it is showing 2 days in “Used Days” as on 01/01/2025? I have already checked Absence Request, Employee Results, Employee Schedule but no ambiguity found.

Best Regards
