Hi,

I’m working on displaying budget numbers to Department Managers in a lobby.

Is there any standard way to limit who can access the budget like in Authorization Combination Rules or Authority Combinations ?

Any ideas?

Hi Kresten,

Not my area really but: from reviewing the database logic there is no standard limitation that you can use. Any user connected to the company via User Per Company can see the budget data.

If you’re planning to use a lobby then you can enforce your own “custom” restrictions using Authority Classes or whatever, just by including that in the Where clause of the data source designer.  A user with your defined authority would see data, and any other user would see nothing.
